After reading h the previous reviews, we thought why are we going here. We arrived in Tucson for a concert and checked in. The place is lovely in our opinion. The room was clean, the bed was wonderful. Loved the blackout shade in the room. I would get a room on the opposite side of the freeway, you could hear the cars at times not to annoying though. The pool needed some attention but was good temp. The breakfast was fabulous, Nice variety of muffins s, eggs, sausage, potatoes, even gluten free bagels. Glass coffee cups and juice cups. Silver ware, not plastic. I would stay here again in a minute. Close to Fox Theater, about 2 miles away. Thanks for the nice stay!’

The hotel itself was nice and well cared for. It must be next to a homeless shelter as they were everywhere. We never felt unsafe, but I was alone without my husband it would have been different.

The rooms are very plain and there is not enough lighting. It is right next to an onramp for the highway. Traffic can get backed up and makes it impossible to enter and exit. There are other ways to enter m. You can use the gas station parking lot or the entrance behind the gas station. The parking near the building is limited. There is more parking around back but it seems super sketchy back there. The hotel is next to another hotel which looks kind of run down I have never stayed at a Hyatt Place before and I didn’t hate it but I also didn’t love it. Staff was friendly and responsive. It seemed clean but had a slight bad smell when we arrived.

Everything was great, except the shower head. The water pressure and temperature was awful!!! Everything else was great.

very disappointed in this hotel. definitely not up to hyatt standards. the hotel is slowly dying. all areas of the hotel are worn out and beat up. the mattress was the most uncomfortable mattress ive ever slept in. website and all over the hotel they advertise a restaurant. there is no restaurant. the person working the front desk will microwave you something from this tiny 5 item menu. when I checked out the person at the front desk took my room keys and wiped them off and put them back in the drawer to be reused. disgusting. would never stay at a hyatt again. website is very misleading with pictures and information that are not accurate.

If there were more eating establishments within walking distance but other than that, it was a nice place to stay for us locals. Very comfortable bed, night desk staff was great (Tre). Would recommend this hotel.
