Good place for an overnight stop. An old 50’s motel brought back to life, it’s been renovated to look like something from the 50’s but with modern conveniences. Very comfortable, quiet and reasonably priced. This is our go to stop in Tucumcari!

The staff was great. The room was spotless and very cool. Was a great part of our trip. So glad we stayed at the Roadrunner!!! The owner came by to make sure everything was in good shape and he gave us a little background on the place and the town. The morning manager was great in the morning. We talked about our trip and about her motorcycles that she owns. Was a great stay!!

Owner was a nice guy with good taste as far as the restoration of the place, colors, details, etc. Nice experience with a great nights sleep. plus the restaurant he recommended was walking distance and very tasty. It reminded me of my childhood experiences traveling as a family 1960s to 70s.

While driving thru; my friend recommended staying at the RoadRunner Hotel. I am so glad that we did (booked 2 rooms) as I was very impressed to the their attention to detail. Seems that the owner / operators make every effort to make your stay comfortable but also stay within the 60's time period.

Wife and I had an overnight stay and booked this room based on the reviews of this motel. It absolutely lived up to the rating. Clean, comfortable, with attention to detail for this historic motel right on Route 66. We eat diner and breakfast at were both within walking distance and loved them as well. Will definitely be back.
