clean and tidy but small rooms , some guests complained about the noise from slamming doors and lights coming through the gaps around the room door.

This is a very good place and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery place. Quiet, clean and well equipped. Staff members are very helpful & friendly. Highly recommended!

The room is comfortable, the lakeside walk next to it is pleasant, and the town is very quiet.

L'emplacement autour d'un lac magnifique est top. La cuisine est bonne et le personnel sympathique. Les chambres ne sont pas très agréables, les murs sont très fins, aucune intimité, les chambres  mériteraient  vraiment d'être modernisées.

The location around a beautiful lake is top notch. The food is good and the staff friendly. The rooms are not very pleasant, the walls are very thin, no privacy, the rooms really need to be modernized.

As a Tasmanian and live here all my life but have never visited Tullah a small west coast town in the heat of the SW wilderness Stayed in a quaint ex miners cottage So much to see and do for the adventurous plenty of lakes and magnificent walks to do We set out early to climb Mt Mackintosh a truly magnificent 2.15 hour walk to the summit although a reasonable challenging walk at times with some steep sections if you’re reasonably fit should be able to complete with stunning views along the walk On our return had a meal at the Lake side lodge a great place to grab a fabulous meal a drink we also returned that night to listen to so live music in the evening friendly staff a inside and outside dining next to the lake There a small train running weekends and local history to read A great place to spend so time exploring

Wow! What a fabulous location this is - with views over Tullah lake which I jogged around and swam in both in the evening and in the morning. (Kayaks also available).  Our room was in one of the blocks and had a good bathroom, bunk beds in addition to our comfortable double bed - but no table or desk for working (I went to the restaurant). .  There was a heater, a hair drier, mediocre wi-fi, and everything else you would need.  We ate an evening meal in the restaurant where there was a good choice of sensibly pried meals - and similarly for breakfast we experienced fast efficient and friendly service at sensible prices.  Honestly the place is great - and about 35 minutes from Cradle Mountain National Park.  Only observation would be that the immediate environment of the lodge is scruffy with unattractive car parking areas and building debris.  Some improvement of the environment would enable me to rate the place as excellent.

Beautiful lakeside setting, spacious and comfortable room, excellent bar and restaurant. The staff are very engaging and responsive. The measure of hospitality is often how a business responds to critical feedback. We had an issue we raised during checkout. The staff took us very seriously and had their in house tradesman on the job fixing the issue before we had rolled out the gate! Would highly recommend Lakeside Lodge. Pete and Jill
