The second time I went, it was so beautiful. There is a paradise next to the hotel, and there are various passages to go there. The hotel itself is fun, an all-inclusive hotel with lots of restaurants. The only downside is that the location is a bit windy and the hotel has a good location for snorkeling, but it depends on luck. The facilities are very good, and it is basically 200 pesos a person from the airport.

The facility was beautiful and location was amazing!
Pros: Very family friendly and we will definitely be back to experience more with our children (not a good option for disabled or elderly though).
The restaurant food was decent, preferred the buffet more actually.
Cons:
Walls are very thin and you can hear literally everything around you.
The cleaners did the bare minimum... When we stayed we had to request clean towels every day, even after the room was detailed. The sheets were never changed which should be a priority with sandy dirty floors, the fridge was never restocked even when asked, and there was a lot of poop on the deck and chairs (patio area).

The Occidental at Xcaret is not a part of the Xcaret experience or company. It is a separate resort connected to the Xcaret Park. The information online about activities, food, places, and operational attractions is either extremely limited, false, or nonexistent. Multiple phone calls prior to the trip, as well as communication with staff in person upon arrival, merited conflicting answers or false answers depending on the party contacted. These issues were not due to language barriers, but either lack of employee knowledge or blatant misleading. Will not be returning.
Pros: it’s a pretty resort, and if you care about Mexican history you’ll probably be interested in the Xcaret park. The people are nice. The area was safe.
Cons: Food, Activities, confusing maps and transportation, high prices, lack of information.

A check-in nehézséget okozott, mivel alig kaptunk információt még egy wifi jelszót sem kaptunk, külön kellett mindent megkérdezni.
Pozitív volt, hogy a szobánkat kicserélték földszint helyett egy emeletit kaptunk. A La piazza étterem katasztrófa volt, a kiszolgálás borzalmas volt és a pincér hozzáállása is kifogásolható. Az ételek minősége összességében nem volt rossz, de nem minőségi ételeket szolgálnak fel. Az alkoholos italok választéka nagyon szegényes volt. Nem ehet az ember minden nap á la carte étteremben, csak az ott töltött éjszakák számának felén. Az éttermek is gagyi hatást keltenek, nem voltak extrák az ételek. Egyik nap reggel 6 órakkor szerettünk volna reggeli boxot kérni, amit nem teljesítettek, csak ha fizetünk külön.A jobb helyek le vannak kerítve VIP tagonak, ami elég lehangoló, mert a szálloda így sem olcsó. A legjobb az egészben az Xcaret park közelsége. A mendecés programok tetszettek.

Me gustó mucho el hotel, solo que me tocó una habitación en el edificio 12 cerca de la entrada y no había agua caliente, después me cambiaron al edificio 18 y las que te ayudan a hacer la habitación nunca pasaron
Pero todo estuvo muy bien la comida muy rica, las bebidas muy buenas, el gym es funcional
