Thought I'd try the pool, but chose not to for fear of overuse by people I saw and maybe not cleaned adequately afterward.
The overhead bathroom light in my room (125) did not work. The heat lamp on a timer (with a regular bulb) was made to double for the overhead. Strange to figure out.

So the air conditioning unit rattled bad when it was trying to cool. The coffee maker was too dirty to use. There was massive staining on the mattress which disturbed me a little. The staff was great and the breakfast was quaint and clean. Gunna try them again , maybe I just had a bad room

Very nice stay for the price. The only complaint is that the carpet in the halls hold smell of smoke. But again for the price it is great. If the property considered swapping to hard floor it would probably help the cause a lot though.

Room was not very clean, sheets and comforters were dirty and locks on the doors were missing and broken so didn’t feel very safe.

Overall place is great The pool had some issues where one of the in water lights was messed up and kept coming out of the socket just floating in the pool The rooms were a tad bit small but not bad beds were a little too far from my taste but some people would probably be fine with that I'm just a bigger person and need a softer bed staff was very accommodating it's located super well in the middle of the town right center of everything you're going to need for food or recreation. Breakfast was lacking but it wasn't bad but any means overall well worth the price we paid

On our way to New Orleans this offered a restful stop where the pool was a nice break. Found a fun local restaurant the Blue Canoe. It was quiet, with comfortable beds, though we miss having an English breakfast.
