TURUNÇ Life Hotel

It was my first holiday abroad with my partner. Turunc is a beautiful place with the most loving people. Unfortunately this was all ruined by this hotel! The staff could not speak English which made it extremely difficult when asking for advice or raising concerns. There was a wasp nest outside on the balcony. The bedroom was only cleaned once out of the 10 nights of us staying there. The only reason it was cleaned was because I had demanded new towels and toilet roll! The bathroom smelt like sewage and the fan didn't work properly making it feel suffocating when showering. The stairs were slippery and no warning signs were put out, causing me and my partner to slip numerous times. One night, I was woken up to police sirens outside the hotel, which I could only assume was complaints from the neighbours due to the music/noise the staff were making after midnight in the upstairs pool. I pre-paid for breakfast which on the website stated that it would be a buffet. I was shocked to find out that the only food offered was a Turkish breakfast that was over cooked and each day a different part of the breakfast was missing. Most days I didn't even get bread! In conclusion I would advise people not to book here. Extremely disappointing time away in such a beautiful place. I would NOT go back.

We had booked in for 10 days, during this time we were the only ones in the hotel making us feel uncomfortable, the staff couldn’t speak any English, so there was a barrier from arrival, our room was never cleaned during our stay, no clean bedding or towels , the toilet seat was broken for the duration, the pungent smell from the bathroom was nauseating, no WI FI, electrical cables just hanging loose, our balcony was constantly wet from the air conditioning, no buffet breakfast at all , we just got the same poor plate of rubbery food, only good thing was the bread ! The police woke us up one night as the staff were having a pool party and one of the neighbouring properties had called them for the noise they were making , Turunc is a beautiful unspoiled place with wonderful people who live there, just definitely would not stay in this hotel again!

We booked to stay at Turunc Life for 21 night, but on arrival at 11.30pm we found room toilet dirty, bathroom smelly, cigarette in ask tray. Next morning we find no WiFi, broken glass on floor meters away from pool. Electricity cable across top of staircase a really trip hazard. Key left in fire escape door! Dirty pool toilets with no toilet paper. No food & drinks menu and staff don't speak any English so really difficult to get service. Floor in bedroom had not been cleaned so now bed sheets & towels dirty, was told room would be clean every 3 days but wasn't. Apprently cleaner had left! Breakfast was turkish with meat, I don't eat meat so requested fry egg which we had been given on first day, this was for some reason no longer possible for the rest of our stay! We raised all these issues with management a number of times but nothing improved over 4 days! We where made to feel very uncomfortable and un welcome. So we decided to check out as so stressed and now find property will not refunded the 16 remaining nights we did NOT stay, dreadful management! DON'T STAY HERE.
