Great hotel! The only issue is that my room did not have a microwave. Other than that, it was great!

Lighting in the rooms is bright white, instead of a soft or warm white (very uninviting). The bellman were both on their phones instead of greeting. The pool was roped off. For the price, find a hotel that has free breakfast!

It's a great location if visiting the University of Alabama - it's right on campus. Unfortunately they know that so they don't try in any other area. We got the biggest suite the had. Carper had fresh stains, dust everywhere, room smelled and was old. Even in their biggest suite the bathroom was super small with only one sink. Small hard pillows on the bed with very worn sheets. The impression I got was they don't try because they don't need to. It's by far the closest hotel to the University of Alabama so they are likely always filled.

The room was very mediocre for the price. The shower leaked all over the floor and smelt like mold. There was a bait and switch with the price of the room when contacted the manager Gracie she refused to work with us. My suggestion is to stay anywhere else.

We visited UA for a campus tour weekend. The hotel & room was very clean and appealing. The location was perfect for any UA activities. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to UA.
