Harmony Motel

A true oasis in the desert! Located uphill and just west of town, it has fantastic views of the nearby peaks and central 29 Palms. A charming, decorated courtyard. A pool to cool off in the afternoon and a hot tub to warm on a chilly evening. A nice community feel.

Stayed for two nights in Harmony Motel. Location is good to visit Joshua Tree National Park. King bed is comfortable and the full kitchen is very handy to prepare for light meals. The only negative side is it's a little bit noisy at night since it's close to the highway.

We just had a wonderful 3 night stay in Chuck’s Cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and a perfect location for exploring Joshua Tree National Park. The back patio was amazing for sunrise and sunset. The kitchen had everything thing we needed to prepare meals. Highly recommend!!

Firstly I really appreciated the one on one service that we recieved,the communication was excellent from booking to check in Ash is a terrific host.They have a beautiful pool and the hot tub under the stars it is the most relaxing thing.We stayed at Chucks cabin which was spacious and had everything you needed a home away from home. Truly a wonderful experience. We visited Joshua tree park everyday very close to harmony so perfect for day trips then back to relax.

If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet, no frills stay just outside Joshua Tree National Park, this is a good choice. Room was spacious with a working kitchen. Parking is convenient. Restaurants are nearby. Cannot rate the pool since we did not use it due to it being winter.

We rented Chuck's cabin which is a part of the Harmony motel. It was fantastic! Clean quiet and a home away from home. Tastefully decorated contains all the comforts of home. It is very close to Joshua tree National Park. Our hostess Ash was the best! I will be back. To book call the Harmony motel you will not be disappointed.

Harmony Hotel appears more suited to a longer term visitor, than to a short-term traveller. The organization of the motel with shared kitchens between rooms and a common kitchen (both available for an additional fee) makes it a good place for a temporary home. But for our stay of 3 nights, it was a little strange. Without paying for the kitchen, you don't have access to a refrigerator, just a styrofoam cooler. Also, no housekeeping is provided during a stay. The bed was hard for our liking and the sheets didn't stay on the mattress. The room was clean and the place was full, but quiet during our stay. Towels are old and scratchy. The manager is a bit grumpy and has more rules than usual for a hotel. For example, if you want to have your trash removed, it needs to be outside the room before 8am and you text the manager.

My partner and I recently stayed one night at the Jack Kerouac cabin, which was very reasonably-priced and comfortable. We were only there for one night so we didn't use the kitchen, but for those staying longer that would be convenient. It was also conveniently located to one of the entrances to Joshua Tree National Park, as well as restaurants.

The motel was very charming. Loved the full kitchen. Only downside was noise from the highway when you were outside the unit. But all the hotels in the area were on the highway.
