The resort rooms are spacious, clean, and updated. Yet the resort keeps a rustic feel which was so nice. Employees are friendly and helpful! Stayed during Grandmas Marathon and the price was $$$$ but compared to other resorts it was about the same. So it’s hard to comment on “value”. Highly recommend any of the Odyssey resorts. They understand the meaning of hospitality on the North Shore.

Great location and great food at the restaurant. Service was a little bit slow. But the food quality and taste was excellent. Not sure about the reason for not having housekeeping service available for multi-night stays. The front desk staff is great to replenish anything you want from coffee pods to towels to toiletries. The only couple of things I would have liked is housekeeping to get the bed done and bathroom cleaned for multi-night stays. The log-home room had a traditional coffeemaker. I would have preferred a Keurig like they have in the main lodge rooms. Other than that, no complaints.

While there is always room for improvement, we love staying at Grand Superior Lodge. The beach and lake view are wonderful. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our room and view. We had fun having drinks on the bar’s deck overlooking the lake.

Horrible quality of rooms for the actual price you’re paying. If you’re considering a wedding here, run. The venue is beautiful but the person managing the wedding coordination is super unprepared and unprofessional

We absolutely loved this place! Our first time here and we will be back again. I'd like to stay here in the winter and go skiing. Our view was beyond spectacular. The cabin was very clean and homey. We felt very relaxed here. I only wish we would have had more time to stay a few more days. I have lived in Minnesota my whole life and have never stayed and explored Northern Minnesota. So much to see and do! We will be back soon!

Grand Superior was indeed a grand venue for our nephew’s wedding. We enjoyed beautiful views of Lake Superior from our room, from the restaurants, the wedding area, and walking around the grounds. We enjoyed visiting waterfalls and a lighthouse nearby.

Went on a quick trip to Northshore and found this place and feel like we hit the jackpot - spectacular views, cabin was adorable and clean, had my own patio to sit on to view Lake Superior!

View from our room was amazing, food and drinks at the grill were delicious and the staff were all super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. 10/10 would totally come back again
