A wonderful peaceful stay. The hostess Dawn was very accommodating and a joyful part of my stay. Private baths and very comfortable bed and pillows. A great place to stay and relax! I stayed as part of a respite group of special needs Mothers and it was a great weekend.

This is the most comfortable, charming, welcoming place I have stayed at in a long time. Each and every detail in this beautiful Victorian home is done with care. The owner was very welcoming, attentive, and had good communication. The owner makes you feel like you are part of her home. The location is right near Lake Michigan and beautiful bike trails.

Disclaimer: This review is being posted by laid-back, "go with the flow" profile users who don't need (and don't want) a lot of personal attention. We think a different personality will have a totally different review. The house is gorgeous and immaculate. The rooms are quiet and secure. You will enjoy modern plumbing and private baths. The host takes serving guests personally and spends a lot of time to try to deliver quality service. There is wine in the fridge she lets guests enjoy in the back yard. Everything has a place and is put back in that place. You can eat off the floors of this house. The host is new to B&Bs and self-identifies as recently widowed. She likes to spend time with her guests and is an "open book" - her hosting style was not a good match for our vacation style. We are laid back and want to escape while on vacation. We are used to impersonal, concise instructions - e.g., 1-page (or less) emailed instructions about checkin, checkout. Instead, all of this is transmitted verbally during a personal tour of the house that seemed to wander. (We couldn't keep track of what we wanted to know, e.g. the wifi password that is on a card by the community coffee station). This was our first time in several years not using traditional hotels and Air BnB... we think we stumbled onto something that was nice, but it's just not our style.

What a great bed & breakfast! We not only loved the house, the room, the location, and the breakfast, we felt like we made a friend in Dawn, the hostess, who chatted with us like a member of the family. The house is beautifully decorated; each room has a separate bath and our room was very comfortable; and Dawn made a delicious breakfast for us, tailored specifically to our tastes. Two Rivers is a lovely little seaside town. We would definitely do this again.

Dawn has a lovely 1907 home and is very welcoming. We had two nicely sized rooms and a delicious breakfast. Coffee right by the room in the morning a definite plus. We think you will also enjoy your stay in this quiet neighborhood.

Dawn is hostess extraordinaire, providing one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we have ever experienced. The mansion itself is so tastefully decorated throughout. Our room was majestic and lovely, with a big bathtub in the adjoining bathroom. The bed was heaven, the extra touches included snacks and treats, a guest refrigerator with complimentary beverages, and other amenities too numerous to mention. The wonderful breakfasts were scrumptious. These are all evidence of a proprietor whose desire is to pamper and warmly accommodate her guests. Dawn is a doll who obviously enjoys people, and you will not find a better B&B anywhere!
