The pre check in information was perfect enabling us to drive to the paradores with ease. Parking was not a problem either as a free car park is five minutes. The hotel is a spectacular house with the rooms being beautifuly adapted to give a real feel of stepping v Back into the past the luxury of a wealthy renaissance cleric. The hotel and its history were a pleasure to experience and the seamless service of the staff just made it seem of a different age joyous stay.

La localización es impresionante, lugar abierto rodeado por Iglesias y Palacios. El monumento histórico es imponente. Por la estructura del edificio resulta un poco incomodo. Habitación pequeña y oscura. El Patio podía tener más carácter y además han colocado alrededor de la Fuente central de dicho patio unas cadenas de plástico, rojas y blancas, que más parece una señalización de trafico. Lo comentamos en Recepción (el mal gusto) y nos contestaron que no éramos los primeros en denunciarlo y que ya era conocido por el Director (?)

Calme et luxe. L'hôtel est situé exactement à l'endroit où l'on voudrait séjourner si on arrivait dans cette ville par hasard. La chambre était très grande, un peu sombre, mais quand la luminosité est excessive en plein été, la pièce doit être très agréable. La literie est parfaite. Le personnel est absolument charmant. Malgré la barrière de la langue, ils se mettent en quatre pour vous satisfaire.

Localización inmejorable, en una de las mejores plazas renacentistas de España. El establecimiento se ubica en un palacio del mismo estilo arquitectónico, en cuya construcción intervino el genial arquitecto Andrés de Vandelvira, a quien también se le deben gran parte de los edificios históricos de Úbeda y de la vecina Baeza. La atención de los empleados ha sido excelente y muy profesional, como es regla general de la casa.

El parador está situado en un enclave excepcional y es un placer poder alojarte en un edificio con tanta historia. El personal es amable y siempre dispuesto a complacerte. Deja bastante que desear el arreglo de las habitaciones y sobre todo el bufet de desayuno que ha empeorado no solo en este parador sino en la cadena en general, bandejas vacías, poco surtido de dulce y salado, poca variedad de pan, no merece los 20 euros que te cobran. Nosotros viajamos con una tareta cinco noches que sale a 125 euros alojamiento y desayuno y es razonable, pero pagar la tarifa normal no trae cuenta para las prestaciones que ofrecen. Solo destaco la situación, lo demas muy normal

Aunque recalamos en el parador de Úbeda por no encontrar plaza en el de Jaén, debo decir que me alegro de que así fuera. Precioso edificio en pleno casco histórico de Úbeda. Y nos reservaron la habitación 112, ¡espectacular!. El personal, a la altura de Paradores. Plenamente recomendable.
