Insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das einzige wo es einen Punkt Abzug gibt sind oben im Dachgeschoss die Zimmertüren sind nicht richtig zu. Man sieht richtig einen Schlitz.

Die Lage ist einfach super, ich war mit allem sehr zufrieden.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Es war leider zu heiß, ein kleiner Zimmerventilator hätte gut getan.

This hotel is above a greek restaurant by the same owner. Clean spotless room and bathroom, comfortable beds. We had the luxury of a small balcony. Gorgeous view over the Bodensee and with the right circumstances you van see Austria.
Parking can be found close by in Parkhaus-West (max €15 per day).
A nice breakfast is served daily from 08.15-10.00 am.
Kind owner and friendly staff. Family run!
We visited during the annual city-fest (Promenadenfest) and even though the city was more bubbly, no issues with noise.
Highly recommended!
Do not expect the Hilton but be welcomed to a clean tidy room with a good bed and good breakfast buffet.

Lage Top, Essen gut, Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer und Bad so lala (zum schlafen und duschen Ok). Hatten nur tolles Wetter und waren ständig unterwegs.

Besonders hat mir die Lage des Hotels, unmittelbar an der Seepromenade, gefallen. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals war zu jeder Zeit ausgezeichnet.
Leider ließ der Zimmerservice (putzen des Bads und die Bodenpflege) zu wünschen übrig. Das muss deutlich verbessert werden.

Das Kreta ist ein einfaches Hotel in Top-Lage an der Seepromenade. Wir wohnten drei Tage dort und waren durchaus zufrieden. Wir hatten Zimmer 4 mit Balkon und einem Seitenfenster. Das Zimmer war hell, sauber, die Möbel einfach, aber alles was funktionieren muss funktionierte. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, der Service trotz Stress in der Hochsaison nett und schnell. Auch das Essen im Restaurantgarten war ordentlich. Es gibt bessere Hotels, aber was für für 85 Euro pro Zimmer bekamen, war den Preis wert. Wer es eleganter haben will, bekommt zum doppelten Preis etwas mehr Eleganz. Wir haben uns im Kreta wohlgefühlt und kommen sicherlich mal wieder. Vielleicht in der Vor- oder Nachsaison, wenn der gut funktionierende Familienbetrieb etwas ruhiger läuft. Die im Netz kursierenden negativen Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Das Hotel ist durchaus ordentlich.
