Kediyoor Hotels

Kediyoor is amongst the oldest and most conveniently located 3 star accomodation option when staying in udupi. It is right next to Udupi bus depot and walking distance to Shri Krishna mutt , City Center mall etc. Entire Udipi shopping areas can be traversed on foot and ***ipal is also about only 4 kms away. The Hotel has a veg and non veg restaurant below besides a pizza joint and also a bakery/ confectionery store below. Food served in the restaurants is of superb quality and taste although may be a tad more expensive than the joints nearby. We stayed in a super deluxe room with a Jhula and the rooms was quite spacious and clean. Only thing the corridors are quite dark and not well lit. The room service was prompt and courteous. Only thing to be noted is this is a slightly older 3 Star property - so if you keep that in mind in terms of expectations- one is unlikely to be responded.

Very neat and clean room, all fixtures and fittings working, housekeeping staff very helpful, good food restaurants (separately for Vegetarians and non vegetarians). Room Rates are slightly on the higher side but decent facility makes it up.

Nice Hotel with City Centre location. Hotel has two types of restaurants and one bar. Good accommodation with reasonable rates. Thums up for it. They provides car service for sightseen. City Bus Stop is near by.

The hotel is centrally located opposite to the bus stand. Rooms are neat and clean. Rooms are well furnished and maintained. Food is excellent. Service is very good. Service is also good. Enough parking is available

We 30 senior citizens from Bengaluru stayed 2nights in AC rooms at Kediyoor hotel; rooms were booked over the phone; rooms are spacious & clean ; Bed linen - clean & Fresh ; Bathroom - clean ; staff are well ***nered & professional; The ***ager Mr Vilas is a thorough Gentle***. Mr Prabhu and others the reception were very soft spoken & we could check in & out smoothly. Lobby boys helped us with the luggage. Gokula Krishna restaurant serves veg cuisine. Very tasty, very hygienic. Best was Davanagere benne Dosey. North & south indian food served. Head chef Mr Suresh Shetty says we are not his customers but guests. He personally speaks to the guests & makes us feel at home. Restaurant ***ager Sridhar Shettigar takes special care of each guests with a broad smile. The staff Naveen Shetty, Keshav, Ravindra, and ***y girl staff - very professional . Actually we had booked other restaurants for lunch dinner breakfast etc..but cancelled all & ate only at gokula Krishna restaurant.

We were a group of 4 senior women and stayed here for a night. I booked the hotel on phone in advance. Rooms were clean, spacious and we felt safe to stay. The Gokul restaurant has a huge variety of food available. There is a non veg eatery too. Parking is in the basement. Location is very near to Highway and Shrikrishna temple. A best place to stay I would state.

Kediyoor is a no frills hotel. And they do all the small things very well. Room service, timely help, extra beds, towels - there is no need to ask or remind anything a second time. This is a place we love quite a bit and keep coming often. Beyond all the fancy things that other hotels offer, Kediyoor gets all the basics right. kediyoor is value for money and located very close to everything in Udupi.

We occupied Room 309; at Kediyoor Hotel, Udipi, Kn, India on 29 May, 2022. But the boys did NOT provide Drinking Water. We asked them & after some ARGUEMENT they gave us 1 bottle of 1 Liter for 2 guests. Again , on May 31, the same story was REPEATED. On June 1st, at 10:25 pm, when we asked for DRINIKING WATER, the Room Service person was very , very rude. He said that we should ask for Complimentary Water. He also said we have already taken one bottle & asking for another. We replied that we would not lie for a bottle of Water. We suggested that he should supply the water EVERYDAY, to which he replied that it would be disturbing the Guests. We have travelled more than 13 countries in the world & have never bickered for a bottle of Drinking WATER in Hotel Rooms. At last we told him that we will complain to Kediyoor ***agement. Also we will pay for it, if required. He said we may do so. Then he has supplied the Water. I'm also sharing this mail on other Travel Sites, as we are very much hurt by the behaviour of your boys. The Veg food at Kediyoor has been outstanding and the service is very good, one of the authentic Udupi food, we tried almost all signature Udupi dishes and they tasted good and gave the authentic experience.
