1. The location of the hotel is OK, although it is a little bit to eat near the bustling square at night, but the town is quite safe, just stroll back to digest it. But the uphill is really tired! 2. Extremely small room,felt like 5 m2, booked a Standard room and the pictures looked different also m2 was not stated, the service is very poor, the administrator speaks English poorly, seemed like we were the only people in the hotel and management didn’t offer any other options. We chose to pay on spot and the price was 83$ , but when we got there, administrator told us that we could only pay in euro or tl, and then told us the price of 1950 tl which is 700tl more. With our help and several tries she was able to finally count right. It was very noisy and hot at night, so there was no quality of sleep. When we tried to get our money back for the second night because we were not willing to stay another night in this conditions, the administrator refused and told us to cancel booking online which would not change anything since we paid in cash. No one returned the money for the service we didn’t use and we had a terrible experience. Would not recommend

My husband and I have just returned home after a 14 night stay at the Hotel Sonne. We were very impressed with the extremely well managed hotel and felt very welcome. Every member of staff was friendly and polite but a special thank you to the lovely girls serving breakfast Nurcan and Mine and our friendly cleaner Gulsum (I hope I've spelt the names correctly ) From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The rooms are bright, fresh and clean and the buffet breakfast is on a par with any 5* star hotel with a huge variety of food to choose from. Breakfast is served on the top terrace with beautiful views of the bay and the town of Kas. Hotel Sonne is in a great position with a choice of beach clubs within a few minutes walk as well as the centre of Kas with a fantastic choice of restaurants, bars, boutique shops and stalls. We would recommend taking a boat trip for a lovely day out and also a water taxi over to Bilals Beach. We hope to return in the near future.

The view is as stunning as from the penthouse, and here comfort is more than at the expense of two well-functioning air conditioners (one in the bedroom, another in the kitchen-room).
