Normally I've never had any issues to complain about but my last 3 stays here have been terrible and I don't think I'll be staying here again. 3 weeks ago I checked in and the manager put my grandson and I in a room and within 20 minutes I began itching really bad and felt something on my neck and ankle. I lifted the pillow on the bed and I was astonished when I saw 3 bedbugs I was able to grab a tissue and catch 2 and took them right down to the front desk and showed the manager. While he was rather shocked by what he was seeing and very apologetic he offered to move us to another room. I accepted because I just drove 11 hours and exhausted I had my grandson ***** and get in the shower afterwards I did the same and threw both our clothes in the trash and had to double bag our clean clothes go to a local laundry mat and wash our clothes 3 times. Reluctantly we stayed an additional night and to my surprise the manager didn't even offer a discount or refund for the first night after the nigh**are and 3 hours in a laundry mat trying to get the nasty bugs out of our clothes. Now I gave Red Roof Inn the benefit that the last stay was an unfortunate event and it happens I decided to stay here because of the locality and not the property but Red Roof Inn reservation overcharged me for my reservation by 20.00 dollars I called and cancelled and made a new reservation and now I have a charge for the one night stay but an additional 66.39 change pending on my card.
