Hotel Atharva,Ujjain

Reception team was good. The front office desk staff has no much knowledge about providing Wi-Fi to the guests. I was without Wi-Fi during my entire stay. Restaurant and the food is fantastic. Restaurant staff also are courteous.

We booked this hotel for a 3 days stay, and on the very first day in itself, this is very disappointing, as I mention that without any notification/intimation, we are refused for BREAKFAST. Being corporate employees, we feel hugely disrecpted and find gap towards their professionalism.

The hotel is on bypass to ujjain roughly about 10-15 minutes from major temples. Choose executive room as they are spacious avoid Saturday - Monday as crazy rush in ujjain and in hotel. The food quality is good but they have repetitive breakfast menu, we had three times breakfast and every day they had practically same menu. The restaurant staff are courteous especially Neeraj service staff, he was knowledgeable and took great care. Prefer battery operated rickshaw if you are 4 people it's comfortable and they would charge around 80 rupees. Since this hotel has mix of tourist , pilgrimage and event's people.

I have stayed with my family at this hotel during my visit to Mahakal. The location is very good, surrounded by lust green garden. The room size was very large with all the modern amenities and facilities. The room service was very quick and all the staff was very cooperative. The quality of food served at Restaurant is delicious. The breakfast was really good with lots of items to choose from. Over all highly recommended property for your stay in Ujjain Cheers

Overall Good Hospitality, Thanks to Mr. Hatim, he took good care of us. Executive Rooms are better. Hotel is not far from the main Mahakaleshwar Temple. Mr. Rajendra at the Restaurant was very courteous, suggested us good dinner options as we were just 2 of us. Very Satisfying Experience.

They had an item ' Sabudana Khichdi' in breakfast which was smelling so bad. When I asked restaurant ***ager to take a portion and eat, he did not eat it and he said that there was left over item from yesterday which they have served. PATHETIC!! Also spoke to the hotel front desk staff 'Rajesh' but even he was helpless!! It's a health hazard, people will fall sick after eating spoiled food.

Everything in this hotel was amazing except the washrooms!! First the pros: Great entrance, nice location, good service, Delicious food, amazing ambience, good room size, nice maintenance and polite staff!! Now the Cons: Not maintained washrooms, taps and tiles had some dirty spots on them, and buckets were dirty; in total, I was not happy with the washrooms and their maintenance. Also, there is a window whose handle is broken, due to which it gets open on its own and you can listen to train sound as the track is near the hotel. Also, the corridors are noisy!! Other than these, I had a great stay, every other thing was very fine. It is a great hotel to stay at, as it is near Mahakal temple!!

We were two couples all senior citizens above 70 years, recently (26/10) stayed in this hotel for a day/night when we had gone to visit the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. I shortlisted Atherva through Tripadvisor for two double rooms but found great difficulty in making bookings through the portal. Shockingly, in every attempt the room tarrif jumped up. I phoned up the hotel reservation directly and Mr. Rajesh Verma was very courteous and helpful. He confirmed our booking for two rooms and followed it up with a confirmation mail. Payment at the time of checkin. Excellent response. The rooms are comfortable and the toilet etc. was very clean and disinfected. The room service was prompt. The Modak restaurant is very good and the food was excellent. The servings were adequate and food was hot and served quickly. The buffet breakfast was very eloborate and tasty. The staff was smiling and courteous. Good car parking and free wifi. What more one can desire. Very good value for money. I will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

No. Of customers affect the quality and service which is not good. When there are plenty of customers then food quality degrades and it affects value for money. Provide food according to the price you put on menu cards.
