I appreciated the cleanliness of this property inside the rooms and in the shared areas like the pool. The breakfast was surprisingly varied for a motel breakfast. (Note: The toilet was surprisingly low.). The area has some street travelers and is within walking distance (a mile and a half) from downtown. There aren’t always sidewalks and its a car-centric area of ***** malls and local businesses. A car-free bike path is near and looks newer. Ukiah’s old town district was surprisingly quaint and from a time past, in California. I would stay at this motel again if I could secure a balcony room again for fresh air and extended living space. I got a couple of good night’s sleep and felt safe on the third floor of three floors. The motel was manageable and managed well. The walls were insulated well; I only heard one air conditioner (not mine) of a shared wall or from the floor below running all night, but it was a consistent sound, so I got used to it. Didn’t hear other voices or flushing toilets, so that was proof of good soundproofing. Thanks Hampton Inn-Hilton in Ukiah.
