Chinggis Khaan Hotel Ulaanbaatar

Hotel location is good. Emart supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby. When we returned to hotel by cab during our stay, the driver didn’t have enough change for us. I hurriedly ran to reception counter to seek help. The staff quickly get some change for us to pay the driver. Thumbs up to the attentive staff!

The hotel facilities are very dated. The toilet in our room was leaking. The issue couldn't be fixed and they issued us another room. Sound on the TV was not working in both the rooms. We frequently called reception for these issues. The toilets are also dated with bathtub and shower curtain. There were some stains and wear and tear. The hey days of this hotel are about 15 years past. Sockets are also the 2 pin instead the the newer multi-plug sockets. On a good note, the beds were comfortable, towels clean and the room spacious enough. The hotel is also next to a huge e-mart to buy groceries and food.

I haven’t stayed at this hotel for almost 10 years, but the staff service and room cleanliness are still as excellent as I remember. It truly deserves its 4-star rating I would especially like to thank the two receptionists, Reida and Shijire. They provided outstanding service and demonstrated the level of professionalism expected from a 4-star hotel. I was particularly impressed by how Reida could effortlessly switch between English and Japanese while assisting guests. I also enjoyed dining at the Beijing restaurant on the 3rd floor. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would gladly recommend this hotel to others. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

Comfortable bed, dated property (24" tv with no Netflix), weird light system (remote control for some lights). Bakhdal at the front desk is very helpful. It's fine, but nothing special. C

It's was a lovely hotel the staff was excellent very professional a special thanks to Saran and reda we arrived at the hotel early in the morning due to the flight time and with the check in time being 14.00 we was in for a long wait the hotel really looked after us and Saran moved heaven and earth to get us in the room by 11.30 which was really kind of him the hotel itself was really good the room was excellent and absolutely spotless the hard working staff really deserve credit. We didn't have breakfast but the cafe bar was very nice and really reasonably priced.me and my wife loved our 7 nights stay and a would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting ulaanbaater
