Riverside

This place may have recently changed it's name as we booked at as Island View Hotel. We're staying here tonight and already it's a fantastic place. The host is super friendly and lovely and the room is spacious and comfortable and clean. Plenty of tea, coffee and a tunnocks tea cake! Fresh milk in the fridge. Lots of places to eat in Ullapool and a lovely place to wander around. Would definitely stay here for a few nights more if our trip dictated.

Excellent guest house, super check in the owners were so helpful, the room was lovely, clean and beautiful bathroom, and the breakfast was delicious easy to park and slightly away but within walking distance of the town. Would definitely recommend.

Booked this place after my first choice ancelled my booking 4 days before I was due.Excellent b&b. easy walk to town centre . Pleasant landlord who allowed me to get in early due to wet and windy weather. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Residents lounge. Would certainly stay nhere again.

Excellent stay at this guest house,first time visitors as usually stay closer to harbour.Had a fall from our motorbike and although we were allocated a room on first floor we were offered ground floor room instead which we accepted.Room beautiful and spotlessly clean with dual aspect windows so room light and bright,lounge area ideal with menus for local restaurants and glasses for your use..Good breakfast night morning and our only issue was guests in room above very noisy from 7am so woken slightly earlier than usual but won’t stop us returning.Very friendly owners.Will be back soon but next time in the car.

Was staying here for a single night for work. Right from the warm welcome and helpful tips on where to go for dinner locally, the stay was fab! I was in room 1 - beautifully decorated, tasteful and quiet room. Very cosy with such a comfy bed! Great shower too. Breakfast was fab - nice range of choices and all very tasty. Wonderfully warm and welcoming hosts too. Look forward to returning!

Just home from a lovely 2 night stay in riverside guest house. Rooms well decorated, spacious & very clean. The owner was friendly and recommended things for us to do in the area which helped us. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay here 😊

Efficient, clean no frills b&b with standard breakfast offering, shame Scottish porridge was not an option. For one night stay adequate. Walking distance to sea and restaurants, though note out of season limited choice.

Brilliant B&B a minute from the ferry port to Stornaway. Very clean with attention to detail. Breakfast was everything you need. Will certainly come back if the occasion arises. Chris and Yvonne from Cardiff

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our one night stay at the Riverside Guest House. Room was modern and immaculately clean. Parking was conveniently available out front. We were about 3 blocks from a very large Grocery and about 4 to 5 blocks (an easy walk) to the main area where the restaurants and boats were. Everything was easy regarding check-in and check-out. Be aware that they do not charge upfront with booking, so payment occurs upon your arrival. The morning breakfast provided was well done with several options. Great stay and would highly recommend! (Make sure you eat at the Seafood Shack. The food from this little food truck was amazing, and the gin drinks close by were also outstanding).
