Great Hotel & Spa, Good Location, Really Nice Food.

Easy to find and should have been enjoyable but pouring down and river leven running really fast and loud directly under our room kept us awake alll night left after first night . Rooms big but dated no access to balcony and windows needed cleaning order placing . Bed only double not comfy . Staff were really good but the place needs an update and some atmosphere.

This former mill building is a bit intimidating when it first comes into view - but inside its a warm, welcoming place with fantastic staff - bubbling with enthusiasm and so very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were tastefully done, clean and very comfortable, we had a room with a balcony and a wonderful view of the river. The food was excellent as was the service. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough and would certainly book again..

My short stay was everything to make my stay enjoyable, everything in place for comfort, hotel personnel pleasant and charming at all times, pleasant atmosphere all around, I will be planning at some time to be hopefully visiting again . Best wishers to everyone.

Lovely hotel with amazing riverside view. We had an excellent dining experience here. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about our experience, which made the visit even more special. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the amazing food and the outstanding hospitality.

A lovely location. The receptionist was amazing. However we stayed a Saturday night and there was a wedding. They took over pretty much the whole hotel. Restricted what we could do. The room was okay. Bathroom amazing by the rest needed updated. A basic lakes hotel. My advice if a wedding is in n don’t stay here as you are restricted to what you can do.

Excellent short stay at Whitewater. Staff friendly and helpful. Meals excellent and large portions, little bit too much for us, a two course evening meal deal would be more than adequate for us. Good to have leisure facilities although pool was a little cool. Great location next to river and easy access to South Windermere. Steam train nearby if interested.

Great room with river view, good food and great location for touring around area. On a minus side not enough staff…. Room not serviced and a wait to be served at bar. The young receptionist and a young barman/waiter seemed to do everything and were very helpful providing us with cups/tea/biscuits for the room. Spa is a bonus but pool is freezing!
