We were booked to stay in June for a night but had to cancel due to a medical procedure. They would not reimburse any of our R4500 (approx) and to be fair, they did say at booking they would not past a certain timeline. They did say I could credit it to another person who lives in KZN so we booked for her. She called in to change the date, it was verbally approved (like many hotels) but when she arrived, booked out. She rebooked for August while there in person but after many conversations with the hotel over email, they say it is not true that she rebooked. Clearly a mistake was made by staff, which happens, but they are not very hospitable and say it not possible a mistake was made on their side. It looks beautiful online but terrible customer experience.
