I stayed at Sylvan Grove for a work trip for 4 nights. The host is very friendly, kind and helpful. Made the stay a very comfortable one. Breakfast was amazing. The room is very beautiful and had an amazing view of the sea. I would definitely recommend it for either a work trip or personal vacation.

Sylvan Grove Guest House is the ideal get away accommodation with a genuine feel for 'a home away from home' stay. As a returning guest having travelled back from France, I new what to expect for my festive season stay; ideal location, manicured property, modern, comfortable and clean bedrooms with a beautiful pool and small entertainment area. The beautifully appointed property with thoroughly equipped rooms are enhanced with an uncompromising customer service by all staff and a personal touch created by the manager Shelly who invests in all guests, forging personal relationships making for a memorable, seamless and hassle free stay. I am a return guest now with a preference for choosing to stay at Sylvan Grove knowing I am always guaranteed a fantastic stay. I would highly recommend Sylvan Grove to anyone wishing to experience Umhlanga and surrounding areas.

Our family stayed at Sylvan Guest house for 10 days over Christmas and New Year and cannot express what an amazing time we had. Shelley the hostess, was fantastic and assisted with all our requests and needs. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. The swimming pool was an absolute dream on those hot, humid days. It was always sparkling and clean. Gardens were beautiful. Breakfasts were really good and you could choose whatever you wanted. We would highly recommend it to anyone for a holiday of relaxation and splendor. As a family of 10, we had the entire place to ourselves.

Enjoyed my weekend stay. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was very warm and welcoming and was always available to help and advise on places to go or things to do. The place is not to far from beach and other spots. Definitely worth the stay.

Stayed a week and had a wonderful time. Well managed by Shelley, Sylvan Grove is an ideal holiday or business stay over, just five minutes from Umhlanga's best beaches. The breakfast is flexible according to preferences and is served with a smile. The service in the rooms is excellent. Highly recommended!
