The hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Food from the hotel kitchen tasted good and was well priced. Rooms were clean and there was a pool just outside my room. It was possible to clearly hear people playing in the pool, or eating by the room, when I was in my room. This was not an issue for me bu if you need more privacy, I would recommend looking for a room further away from the pool.

Very good location, you can take a 10 min walk to the beach, but the hotel does not have blankets, so that's something you need to bring for youself if you need a blanket to sleep at night. They only provide a very thin bedsheet.

The room is large and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. For the location, there are many restaurant nearby and it takes 15 minutes to get to the Unawatuna Beach on foot.

The staff was attentive and helpful. Although, not everyone understood what we wanted, even with a translator. We liked the pool. The grounds are well-maintained. The English breakfast was hearty and delicious. The restaurant offers both local, spicy dishes and more traditional European fare. The selection isn't particularly extensive, but you won't go hungry. The rooms aren't particularly spacious, but they were cozy. We didn't have any insects. There's a store within walking distance. The ocean is a 20-minute walk away.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was conveniently located about a 10-15 minute walk from Unawatuna Beach and there was a supermarket right in front. The room was a little disappointing in that not all corners were clean. I chose the Sri Lankan style breakfast for both nights, but the chicken curry on the first night was much tastier. The English style breakfast was also quite filling and satisfying. The staff were all friendly and smiling.
