Best hotel so far in Sri Lanka. Location was amazing! Room was good, foot is so so, but better order in hotel cuz outside restaurants r not that good and more expensive.

This hotel is right on the beach. We ate in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The dinner was served on a table on the beach. For dinner there are a lot of fresh seafood and fish options. The breakfast was local food like fruit, bread, jam and curry. I really liked it. Nice clean room with a mosquito net.

My review, of course, will not be about this hotel, but about the hotel of this chain, Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. We booked a room at the Thaproban Beach House Hotel, when we came to check in, it turned out that our reservation at this place was missing, and we had a reservation at the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. Thanks to the Trip.com team for helping us understand and resolve issues. And the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa turned out to be much better than the Thaproban Beach House. True, it is not on the beach, but the beach is 5-7 minutes away. The hotel is super, all the amenities, large rooms overlooking the ocean. Very tasty breakfasts, 2 swimming pools on site, one with salt water. In general, I highly recommend the hotel. We really liked it. And we never regretted that we moved into it.

It’s a superb property, right on the beach , tasteful decor , super friendly stuff , nice set breakfast … We stayed in penthouse suit that was fabulous… we enjoyed everything in this property. The WiFi was not working and no intercom facility was available during our stay but Mr.Thilina was very helpful, whatever we need we were informing him over phone and instantly he was arranging . A big thanks to him . The other people I don’t know name but all stuff were nice. I lied that they provided beach slippers.

We absolutely loved the location; right on the beachfront and central of the small town with lots of restaurants and shops. Kevin in particular was an absolute star, went above and beyond - constantly smiling, welcoming and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. Kiki was our favourite furry friend. The free shuttle to use the pool at the sister Hotel was really great and an added bonus. Would definitely recommend staying here. The bed could've been ever so slightly comfier and the doors are quite thin as we were staying above the kitchen so heard noise until about 10pm but if you're out later you wouldn't notice on your return and we still slept well. Would absolutely return here!

It was simply fantastic!! The people are nice, the hotel has excellent facilities and the location is great. Furthermore, you could enjoy a delicious breakfast every day and the bar is good and cozy. We had our 4-year-old daughter with us and there were excellent facilities for her too.

Second time in this hotel in Unawatuna, central location on the restaurant and shopping street, overlooking the sea, you dine (excellent, fresh fish) with your feet in the sand. The structure perhaps needs a bit of maintenance, but the rooms facing the sea are worth it, especially those on the top floor, large, on 2 floors and with a nice terrace. The strong point of the structure is the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Good breakfast included. Equipped beach

We originally sat next door to this place and failed to be served.. as soon as we sat down here we got drinks! Attentive and friendly staff and drinks are great. Right on the beach too :) really lovely atmosphere and chilled vibe with nice surroundings.
