The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist guests. The hot spring water quality was excellent, very comfortable and pleasant. The room was spacious with a beautiful view. The dinner cuisine was of high quality, clearly showing the chef's dedication and effort in preparation. The shuttle bus service to the JR station is also a big plus.

A hot spring hotel that exceeded my expectations. The hot spring water was excellent, the dinner was delicious, and the biggest surprise was the view of the Tateyama mountain range from my room at sunset. Extremely good value for money. The hotel also had Chinese-speaking staff who gave us a detailed introduction to the facilities. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Hokuriku region.

Kintaro offers pick-up service from the Toyama Electric Railway parking lot next to Unazuki Onsen Station on the Shinkansen line. Note that they do not pick up guests from the hotel parking lot on the Shinkansen line. The pick-up times are 2, 3, or 4 PM, and the journey takes about ten minutes. I took a taxi, which cost 3600 yen. I arrived early, and the staff were very welcoming, saying that I could check in after the room underwent a final check. I checked in before 2 PM. I saw staff carefully checking other rooms. The hotel is located in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and villages, with basically no scenery, no attractions, and no commercial areas. All the rooms have been renovated and are clean and tidy. There was egg pudding in the refrigerator. There are two large onsen (hot springs). One is open to the public and is very crowded, while the other, the "Painting Onsen," is only for hotel guests. It's very nice. The hotel food was fantastic. The newly renovated dinner restaurant was excellent and a huge plus. It wasn't the usual sugary sweetness; the kaiseki cuisine had a fresh and elegant flavor, and the ingredients were high-quality. It was such a pleasant surprise. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of local dishes, which was also very good. There were staff members who spoke Chinese. The next day, there was a tour to the surrounding area at 10:30 am, visiting a farm and other worthwhile places. Lunch was at our own expense, and we returned to the hotel at 1:30 pm. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to participate, which was a pity.

The room features a hot spring bath with the Tateyama mountain range in front of you. The hotel is surrounded by village roads and rice paddies, a truly affluent setting. The dinner set meal was incredibly lavish, and even the simpler breakfast couldn't overshadow the hotel's grandeur.

Hot springs are the best! It made my swollen legs feel refreshed. I felt like it was slowly working on my body. The large public bath shared with the day-trip hot spring was dynamic with lots of large rocks. The room was comfortable and I slept well on the bed.

This is a wonderful hotel and onsen! The hotel interior is beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are super spacious, clean, and well-stocked with quality full-sized toiletries. The entire staff is wonderful, courteous, and patient with non-Japanese speaking visitors. My husband and I appreciated the excellent meals, especially the opportunity to try traditional Japanese dishes. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. What an amazing experience!!!

Cozy room with snow Mountain View, warmly service, delicious food and natural ♨️. Good for vacation. They also provide bicycle for rent. Near to toyama seashore with museum. This hotel really impressed me with great views, services and amazing food.

Specially experience through family trip, thanks for bringing good memories. And this is my first time to being there, good sleep and good dinner. The place of hot spring is nice and big, so many choice of hot springs. But suggest to have more beverages or ice cream could be applied, thanks.

We missed the shuttle bus, but because we had a pre-booked event, the hotel still sent a car to pick us up, which was very touching. The entire event was well-planned. The outdoor hot spring scenery was beautiful.

The Matsu Kaiseki course far exceeded expectations in terms of deliciousness. In particular, the Wakasa-style grilled sea bream collar was an exceptional dish, comparable to or even surpassing blackthroat seaperch. Everything was served fresh and everything was delicious.

It had been a while since I stayed at a hot spring inn, but I returned feeling truly refreshed and happy. First of all, the room was spacious and clean, and there was even an open-air bath beyond the shower room, so taking a morning bath while basking in the morning sun and feeling the pleasant breeze was simply wonderful! The rich pudding in the refrigerator was also delicious. Of course, the large, free-flowing hot spring bath was also superb. The large bath, with its sulfurous smell, had a slightly retro atmosphere that enhanced the feeling of being on vacation. And the dinner, which I was looking forward to the most, was elaborate from start to finish, and the taste and presentation were superb. Shrimp, sea urchin, abalone, wagyu beef, I couldn't contain my excitement and carefully photographed every single dish. Throughout my one-night, two-day stay, the general manager and all the staff were wonderful people who were full of the desire to entertain guests and help them enjoy Toyama. It was a truly enjoyable time. Next time, I would like to use Kintaro as a base and explore the Kurobe Tateyama area thoroughly. I look forward to seeing you again then!

The hot spring water and the food were great. The breakfast, in particular, had a wide variety of options for a buffet.
