Hotel Renovo

This hotel is very similar to a Holiday Inn. Kind of dangerous walkway/stair case going in, no maintenance to keep it clean in the winter. Inside was very loud, lots of kids running through the halls. The pool area was basically unusable with how loud and busy it was. I slept with headphones to avoid the shouting/slamming of doors, as the walls were very thin. The room itself looked like a strange studio apartment minus the kitchen. The bathroom was...odd? The doors are like closet door and the toilet sits in a weird indent in the wall. The room was clean, sort of, but because of all the weird angles in the bathroom there was a bit of grime and hair in the corners. They don't provide new toilet paper/soaps, most of it is bulk product that's left open, which were not filled or clean. I asked for more blankets before booking, and was only given a weirdly textured blanket that was dusty and left on the top shelf of the closet. Also, the room card has instructions to 'report suspicious guests' which did not make me feel all that safe? It's not listed clearly, but there is a 'sister' hotel across the lot, and that one is apparently a lot 'quieter' according to a regular, and this one (Hotel Reveno) is really only used for the pool. A wonder why it isn't advertised that way on this site. Checkout was okay, the staff are friendly and patient. Overall not terrible but don't go out of your way to stay here. It's not anything special.

Booked a room here due to proximity of an event close by. Initial impressions upon arrival was classy looking property, ease of access. The check in was very easy with friendly staff. One thing that was slightly annoying was the hoard of adults congregating in the lobby when others were trying to check in. The staff did attempt to have people move to another area but most were oblivious to those of us trying to get luggage around to the elevator, taking pictures of girls in prom dresses, etc. Not sure what was going on but it was a bit of a challenge. Room was clean and seemed in order. I was a bit disappointed some of the equipment in the fitness center was broke, and from the looks of another review last Sept has been for some time. 6 months to repair a cable machine? I was tempted to do it myself. I will say this has one of the largest fitness centers I have ever seen, so that was a nice change. I did appreciate the large parking lot and multiple secure entrances that allow one to not have to go thru the main lobby. Cleaning staff upon our departure very friendly and happy to see us/wish us a good day. I can't comment on the cafe or food since we did not eat there, but it's a nice large area and laid out well. We would stay here again. Hint--if you don't want to go thru the parking lot of the restaurant, take the back road that runs up behind the properties on the north side. It's a nice short cut to avoid all those cars.

I absolutely LOVE this hotel! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the ambiance is great, and the staff are always exceptional.

First impression was great. Staff was very friendly. The hotel looked and smelled so fresh and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely poolside room. Friendly staff. Wished there was free breakfast and coffee in the lobby all day.

It smelled of sewer gas when we arrived and was like that for 2 days. The people on both sides of us had parties going on and crying kids and it was not a good experience.
