Nice older hotel. Clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast was very good and well worth the cost. A bit hard to find but the hotel staff helped us find the location. Don't hesitate to call them.

Do not go!! IT Hotel datato che avrebbe bisogno di lavori. Ma quello non sarebbe nemmeno il problema principale che mi spinge a scrivere questa recensione; il problema è la scortesia sconcertante delle 2 persone alla reception. Non metto una stella ma 2 solo perché è in una posizione buona. Non ci tornerei neanche fosse l’unico hotel ad Urbino!!!! EN The hotel is dated and in need of renovations. However, that wouldn't even be the main issue that prompts me to write this review; the problem is the shocking rudeness of the 2 people at the reception. I'm giving it 2 stars only because of its good location. I wouldn't stay here again even if it were the only hotel!!

This is a gorgeous little hotel in one of the most gorgeous towns in Italy. The rooms are eclectic in design and you feel steeped in history within them. There is a wonderful view over the valley and the place is very close to the main squares making your walk to the Palazzo Ducal super easy!

Nel bellissimo contesto storico di Urbino, all'interno delle mura e a due passi dal corso principale, hotel accogliente, personale gentile e disponibile, parcheggio, camera pulita, ascensore con filo diffusione e colazione continentale super!!!!

Hotel difficile da raggiungere e molto, ma molto datato. L’hotel si trova nel centro storico a ridosso delle mura della città. E’ molto difficile da raggiungere in auto perché la zona è ZTL e, se si è in macchina, bisogna imboccare una strettissima stradina in salita che rende il percorso difficoltoso. Il personale è molto gentile e si è prodigato molto quando abbiamo chiesto un taxi. Abbiamo così scoperto che ad Urbino, la domenica, è difficile avere taxi a disposizione perché, a detta dei residenti, gli “autisti preferiscono andare al mare”. Cosa veramente singolare per una città che, tra le altre cose, vive anche di turismo. L'hotel è classificato 4 stelle, ma forse andavano bene 30 anni fa. Lo classificherei un 3 stelle tendente al 2.

Concordo pienamente con una recensione precedente: quattro stelle regalate. Tre stelle sarebbe stato corretto. Niente check in perché non c’era personale (non da quattro stelle); colazione con buona varietà di dolce e salato ma non di qualità e non completa ( non da quattro stelle). Frigo bar come sopra: camera estremamente piccola. Inoltre camera e bagno erano ambienti completamente discordanti tra di loro. Camera piccolissima e più simile ad una cella monastica; bagno più grande della camera (in proporzione) ed arredato in stile con sanitari Devon & Devon. L’unica parte da quattro stelle, ma che non centra nulla con la camera. Buona posizione della struttura ed ottimo parcheggio proprio di fronte all’hotel

Delightful, small hotel. Fabulous views from our bedroom out over the countryside, and very central to the town. Friendly service. Nice breakfast, terrace, and overall traditional feeling. 5 minute walk into town centre. Great restaurants very nearby Portanova and trattoria del Leone.
