Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Valle Sagrado

One of my favorite hotels in Peru, stayed here for the second time! The perfect stay

The Tambo Del Inka is truly a gem in Sacred Valley. The resort definitely offers a retreat and relaxation after exploration of the areas sites. Situated in Urubamba, it is easy to reach the various sites within Sacred Valley and it is not too far to gain access to from Cusco. While this resort doesn’t have tons of activities like some other resorts we’ve seen globally, they pride themselves on the quiet reserve they offer and the high class touches one would expect from a luxury Marriott resort. While we were there, a conference was going on, but we didn’t feel that the hotel was overly crowded or loud. We certainly enjoyed our time. The room was spacious and the bed offered a nice, comfortable place to rest. We enjoyed the freedom to explore the quiet landscape and partake in the relaxation pools at the hotel. This hotel also has its own private rail station which will take you to Macchu Picchu Pueblo, though we didn’t use this service. This is a beautiful hotel that offers great service as well. Though don’t forget to check out the town if staying here. Urubamba is a quaint little town as well and not to be missed.

Out of 5 different hotels we stayed at in Peru, this was our favourite! The rooms were amazingly comfortable. We had the "family room" which included a separate bedroom for our two kids, and we loved it. There was even a large grassy area off the terrace where the kids could run and play. Our kids loved seeing the baby alpaca in the evenings, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere with the indoor bonfire in the evenings, which made the hotel so cozy and inviting. The restaurant was also spectacular!

Beautiful hotel, everything is great, just the TV controllers can be more useful and work well. Hotel staff are really nice. Hotel room ais beautiful, very well arranged. Restaurant has a large menu for every kind of tastes. Very near the town plaza.

Tambo del Inka is an exceptional place to stay. This was our second visit here and this time was just as wonderful as our first, 5 years ago. The location nestled between the mountains and the Urubamba River is idyllic. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The breakfasts are very good, with a large selection. The common areas of the hotel are beautiful. There are many spots to enjoy a Pisco Sour and plan your next day's adventure. The standout here are the staff who always great your and are ready to help.
