Urumqi Tianyuan Jingyi Hotel (Tianshan International Airport)

Arriving late at Xinjiang Airport, choosing this hotel was the best decision. It's incredibly close, just a short walk from the North Terminal. The room facilities are new, it's clean, and the service is excellent. Most importantly, it's quiet and comfortable, which instantly melted away my travel fatigue, leaving me fully refreshed!

The location is unbeatable. We arrived at the hotel basically 5 minutes' walk after exiting the airport, which was incredibly convenient and quick for us as we were in transit and our flight delay meant we didn't arrive until early morning. Ms. Mi at the front desk was very polite and gentle, and even upgraded our twin room booking (which we had bought as an activity package) to a king-sized bed room. The hotel's decor and design are fresh and modern, comparable to 4-5 star hotel standards. To be able to stay for 350 yuan, and with the luggage cart able to go directly into the room, is really excellent. However, there's a very serious issue: the room temperature was too high. With central floor heating and no windows that could be opened, and the air conditioning set to 26 degrees Celsius upon entry, we were sweating 🥵. We essentially had to turn on the cold air conditioning to balance it out. This sauna-like feeling was very uncomfortable for me, being quite sensitive, and made it hard to sleep. I think I even caught a cold now. I hope the hotel can improve the temperature regulation issue.

Plenty of rooms, and they're quite spacious. Staying here before a flight is incredibly convenient – you don't even need to leave the building. Just go to the front desk and take the connecting walkway directly to the terminal, it's absolutely brilliant! There's even a beef noodle shop and a convenience store at the terminal, which is really handy.

The lady at the front desk proactively upgraded our room. The room facilities are very new and modern, completely automated. It's located right inside the airport, just a ten-minute walk away, making it super convenient for transfers. Definitely a five-star review!

When I checked in, I specifically said I would pay for a half-day extension so I could sleep in, and asked not to be called. Yet, when checkout time came, they still called to wake me up and ask if I was checking out. I wonder if their staff even receive proper training; there's absolutely no professionalism. The buffet breakfast isn't even as good as the one at 8:30 AM. Honestly, besides being close to the airport, this place has no other redeeming qualities.
