We stayed at Urumqi Holiday Inn Express for a quick stop, as we were on our way to the next city in Xinjiang. We must commend the hotel on the late night snack (noodles and wonton/dumplings) provided to guests - even late comers like us. Ms He at the concierge was particularly helpful, warm and friendly. We felt warmly received by the whole team, with welcoming gifts a platter of fruit and free soft drinks. The team also helped us on our transport to the station the next day, with short notice - we really appreciate it! We thought the cleanliness and ventilation of our room could be improved, but we were only there for one night so didn’t know the house cleaning team.
