On trips like this, all I am looking for is aa clean place to sleep and this hotel fits the bill easily. Everyone was wonderful to work with (thank you Madison for correcting my booking error so sweetly.) I will be back.

I am very happy that I made the choice to stay at this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and kind. My room with a single king size bed was large had a chair to sit in, had a desk, microwave, refrigerator, dresser, closet, and an area for the coffee maker with additional shelving. Although my window faced the expressway, you could hear some road noise, but it was not terrible. The window has room darkening curtains, so no light came into my room after the curtains were closed. The hot breakfast in the morning had options of scrambled eggs and sausage, as well as the standard cereal and waffles, that you find it many Hotels. It was nice to have the eggs and sausage as gluten-free options.

We were happy to get a handicapped room, but the grout in the bathroom was very dirty and the toilet seat was very loose when sat on. Both were unacceptable for me. Would check the room before settling in if we stay again. Staff were very friendly and always had a smile.

This is my go to hotel when I stay in the Utica area to visit friends and go shopping. I haven’t been here for a couple of years and find that the hotel needs some house keeping/maintenance. Halls need to be vacuumed and garbage such as pizza boxes need to be picked up outside room doors. The inside of the elevator could use some windex. Some touch up with paint would be welcomed.

Very good service when I lodged here in April 2024. Good rooms and customer service. The service was great and the rooms are world class. You should definitely lodge here when you are visiting Detroit in the future. All round excellent service.

A/C unit wasn’t sealed to wall, leaving a hole you could see outside with. This let in a lot of cold air and noise.
