The Chez Milady apartments have a rainforest/garden setting, being slightly out of town with no neighbors. A road is in hearing range. The two family apartments were over/under, with two double and two studio apartments, ground level. They are simple, efficient, comfortable and clean. Iris (Milady) is a hands-on manager with competent assistant, Mano, also a nice and helpful person. She provides a thorough intro about the place and operation and gives an orientation of Utila City. She is very helpful for any and all needs and questions. There were many short and long-term guests. All seemed happy and friendly. I was a two-month guest with some complicated international travel issues. Iris was critical in my working through these over time. She is conservation oriented, nurturing of the flora and fauna, capable and respected in the community and region. She is also a good friend and fun person.

Chez Milady is a very peacefully hostel in the jungle of utilà. Milady is the owner and one of the most helpfull person i know. She gave us a utilà tour at the first day we arrived and help us also for our onward journey to guatemala city. Highly recommended this place for backpackers and familys😁👍
