The property appears to still be in the process of being updated, my room was very clean and comfortable, just looked outdated. It’s a no frills kind of place but for the price you get what you pay for.

Service was good it was nice and clean the only problem I had no where to hang clothes or where to put them at the second night we had no hot water.

It was a secure place to sleep and it was relatively clean. There was no grounds maintenance on the weekend and they are renovating so there are pallets of materials tucked away in every hallway. There were people living there and they had moved some of the community items (trash cans etc) to their room leaving everyone else with a less convenient option. The front desk staff is there to do the minimum and one girl seemed to have a hard time understanding that we wanted adjacent rooms. Uvalde is not a great location, the days inn is not a bad option and all of the bad aspects I listed are minimal issues. Again, the hotel was clean and secure which is really all you need.

I was only given one cup of coffee.
The clock in my room had the incorrect time on it., Its impossible to figure out how to set correct time.
I thought I had the alarm turned off but it still went off in
the middle of the night.
There was construction material all over. The same construction material was there when I stayed in this hotel in March 2023.

The ice maker went off all night long. Please don’t put it by rooms ! Relatively clean. Water was not all that warm it hot in the shower! Could hear others walking around outside the room all night.

Gross. No hot water. Overpriced. Go to the Hampton inn instead for just $10 more. Neglected property. Staff apathetic. Bathroom disgusting. This was a stop along a road trip to camping. We didn’t have high expectations but this still topped the list of worst places ever.
