Pracht van een hotel, goed gelegen bij Drielandenpunt. Vriendelijke ontvangst, goede parkeerplaats, prima kamer en badkamer. Goede atmosfeer in hotel. Jammer geen Belgische zenders op TV. Hoewel we in juni kwamen was het buiten 14 gr, maar men had wel de verwarming kompleet afgezet. Gelukkig kreeg ik een elektrische blazer mee. Diner was subliem, lekkere Belgische wijn erbij. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet! Kortom: uitermate prettig weekend gehad.

Romantisch gelegen hotel, behalve einde van de straat Shell benzinestation. Jammer grote lichtreclame. Erg vriendelijke receptie, nette luxe kamer en ontbijt is uitstekend. Ps aanrader bij verblijf aanschaf minibar box.

Na ongeveer 40 van der valk ( vooral exclusief) ben ik nu enorm teleurgesteld. Het inchecken in dit hotel is wachten tot ze goesting hebben om uit hun gelazen kot te komen, onvriendelijk en weinig behulpzaam. De luxe kasteelkamer is niet indrukwekkend, bubbelbad is niet echt een bubbelbad . Restaurant, etennwas lekker portie zeer klein en de prijs enorm 12 euro voor een glaasje cava , ontbijt is gewoon , maar op kasten geplaatst precies of ze dat vergeten zijn.niets gezelligheid en personeel niet echt vriendelijk, nergens kan je zien dat je in een van der valk zit. En dan hoort dit hotel in de duurdere klasse van van dervalk , misschien ook de juiste foto trekken want nu ligt het precies in de bossen en ligt gewoon in het centrum van Vaals . Hier kom ik niet meer

Booked a room for my family of 4 but the sleeping couch was for kids not adults (even tho paid full price) en there was no privacy since no lock on the toilet and no door to the en suite bathroom.

Het is een prachtige locatie en zeer goede ligging.
Ons verblijf verliep heel goed, maar we konden het toch minder appreciëren dat we om 7.30 al gewekt werden met boren en kloppen van werken die onder onze kamer aan de gang waren. Iets later zou prima geweest zijn.
Een minpunt vond ik ook dat we via de app van het hotel een qr code hadden om korting op een drie gangen menu, we hebben daar twee maal gedineerd en boden bij het afrekenen de code aan, die werd geweigerd omdat we dit op voorhand moesten doen. Dit staat echter nergens vermeld bij de voorwaarden en werd dus niet toegekend. Spijtig, het gaat mij niet om de korting maar wel om de communicatie hier omtrent.

Weer eens een paar dagen doorgebracht bij hotel Bloemendal. Wij komen hier 3 tot 4 maal per jaar en merken dat het niveau langzaam achteruit gaat. Zo was er op een dag tijdens het ontbijt om 9.15 geen Jus d’ orange meer beschikbaar en het ontbijtbuffet matig bevoorraad met beduidend minder keus. Normaal stonden er altijd twee flesjes water in het koelkastje op de kamer. Deze kun je nu kopen bij de receptie. Volgens de receptie staat er een kan op de kamer om zelf water te tappen. Helaas, niet dus. Lijkt mij al met al een slechte besparing van Van der Valk. En dat terwijl ze een zekere luxe willen uitstralen. Hoop dat, mede gezien de kamerprijzen, het niveau niet verder daalt. Overigens de kamers zijn prima.
