Wish we could have stayed a few more days here, our favourite place we stayed in our 2 weeks in Finland. Very clean, spacious and well thought out. Really cool set of model ships in the common area. Great sauna. Friendly & helpful owner, who provided concise and complete information beforehand.

Really nice place. Good location (near the train station) and there is parking for the car available at the yard. Good breakfast. Big and well equipped apartments with a cozy interior. Well worth every euro.

In short, Residence Kappsäcken met all our expectations and more. The rooms of this older home were delightfully cosy, very clean and and inviting. The place included an extremely nice sauna area that could be reserved for sharing or for privacy. Bikes, grilling area, lovely outdoor decks and patios plus easy parking off street were available. The attention to detail included things such as our twin beds in the apartment “Ada” being able to adjust to sitting position via a controller. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful too and they were what tipped our stay in Vaasa as being our favorite of Finland!

A lovely personal accommodation. The rooms are beautifully decorated in style. Motorized beds a plus. It was nice that you also got breakfast and didn't have to bring your own sheets and towels. And there was no need to clean up at the end. The location is perfect near the center

Nicely renovated old wooden house. Otherwise, everything was fine, but the sounds from the corridor and the neighboring room were far too disturbing. Self-service breakfast from the common fridge in the lobby.

Excellent location in Vaasa. Super friendly staff/owner, picturesque buildings of traditional turn of the 19 century style. Multiple fireplaces, sauna, and stylish renovated old interior. Handful of functional and well kept bicycles for lending. Breakfast is simple but enough. Wonderful balcony and terrace with bbq to borrow. A perfect stay for the large family (Bakery) or for any traveler with car in the main house.
