The hotel was adequate but overpriced. It needed repairs and upgrades such as worn carpeting throughout many of the hallways. The large meeting room was freezing cold because only a small number of the overhead heaters were turned on.

I travel across the US for my business yearly. The Grand Hyatt staff, service, and accommodation was best I experienced in years! A single word that describes my experience, THRILLED!

What beautiful resort. We experienced three seasons in five days. Wow! Service was Top notch and the amenities were amazing. Champagne toast and saber opening was fun. Yoga in the morning was super relaxing and a great way to start the day. Hot tub with a view of Gore Creek made such an amazing. Only wish would be for a sauna.

We were only there overnight because the airport in Eagle was closed for weather (heavy snow.) No issues at all with the Grand Hyatt Vail. I can say the bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean.

It was a great stay! Easy to ski and in out! They had a shuttle bus to take you into town. Would definitely stay there again

The hotel was lovely and the rooms were quite nice. The bed was comfortable and the room amenities were upscale. The hotel is about a mile away from Lionshead Village but they have a shuttle that will take you to both villages, or you can walk and it is a spectacular walk along the river. The hotel is nice overall and their Japanese fusion was outstanding, one of my favorite restaurants of our trip. They have activities available such as s’mores in the evening or yoga in the morning. The big downside of this hotel, and a reason why I would not stay here again is that a majority of the staff are rude and some are even quite condescending. I’m usually not one to complain about this type of thing, and I thought maybe some of the others that had made this same complaint were exaggerating, but unfortunately, they were not. I tried to be extra kind but most of the front desk staff and restaurant staff were rude. Out of everyone we met, there were three people that were nice, two bellman/valet, and a bus driver. One waiter started off rude and was very condescending about what my daughter and I ordered but over our stay, he actually became much more nicer. I think it was a culture and language barrier. I may or may not come back to this hotel in the future. I think I would try another hotel first, just to avoid the staff. Otherwise, hands down, I would choose this hotel.
