Gravity Haus Vail

It is on a great location, just minutes walking distance from the ski resort. Also, it has a great restaurant and a nice spa with already included saunas, jacuzzi and a cold plunge. I would recommend it.

Very nice with very helpful staff!

We had a great time at Gravity Haus with the whole family. There are a few things that I will mention that might help with your decision to stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean, and the staff were super nice and helpful. It is a short walk to a lift that is off the side of the mountain and Gondola One. My parents are in their late 50s and did not have a problem. There are a few extra fees for the resort, which give you access to the hot tub/sauna/steam room etc, and parking or valet fees ($60-70 per day). The hotel has a restaurant that serves coffee and food that smells amazing. It is a good option because many restaurants book in advance during the busy seasons. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

This is the greatest and most enjoyable place I have been. The staff is exceptional and the food is crazy good. Access to the slopes is quick.

Overrated and lacking soul. We picked for location but there is no parking included. The price does not justify services. There is no hospitality. The Slope restaurant was good last year but this year they made us wait 1 hr and same 3 tables were still empty, we sat at the bar, the bar tender was in a funeral mood. Just not a happy place.

It was absolutely amazing! The staff was really nice, the hotel was GORGEOUS! My boyfriend and I went 3 days before "busy season" so unfortunately the restaurant was closed, but it was a really nice hotel!

The pros: Good location about a 2 minute walk to the main bus stops and the pedestrian only section of the village. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a beautiful jewel-tone blue. We received a spacious room with a huge tub, gas fireplace (with a timer) and in the room was a carbon monoxide detector and a full-size humidifier (which was amazing, as I usually travel with a portable one). Full size toiletries are available in the bathroom and shower, although I didn't care for the scent. The pillows were good. The hotel was mostly quiet at night, with the exception of one night with some late guests coming back from the bar and the employees using the stairwell by our room early in the morning. There is a kettle in the room for tea and coffee, and a lot of snacks and drinks available for purchase. Every afternoon at reception there were warm chocolate chip cookies and they were delicious! The free spa facilities are nice - steam room, dry sauna, salt lounge, cold plunge and two jacuzzi tubs located outside. The cons: The hotel is not ski-in, ski-out. Upon check-in we were told that our room would be ready in 20 minutes, it wasn't ready for about another 2 hours, but they did store our bags for us. We were told that they only have a handful of parking spaces on site and advised us to park in the village parking garage (which is literally across the street and less expensive, although it's still $60/night). The beds were too hard, my arms and hips were sore each morning. I didn't like that there was not a chain or bolt on the door. The shower pressure/head was terrible. Some of the front desk personnel were a little impersonal. Overall, if I came to Vail again, I would stay here if the price was right.
