We've stayed here many times, and I'm grateful Hampton Inn is pet friendly- but this location needs a full renovation. Dirty stained carpet and odors in the hallways. Our room was disappointing, bathroom had some mold on the floor near the tub and everything in there looked old and dingy. The beds felt hard and cheap, like they came from Odd Lots. Breakfast was typical and good enough but I seriously couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning. Stay elsewhere, there are better options for your money.

The room smelled awful. Very stale and musty.
Had to run the air and heat alternating to make it livable.
The thermostat fan toggle is broken off so cannot run the fan only. Very poor.

We arrived to be informed that they had cleaned the room carpets. Our room carpets were wet and my wife slipped walking into the bathroom and fell. We used digital key and no advance info was provided to know this cleaning was being done. The smell was unpleasant and conditions unacceptable.

I attended a convention this past week in Valdosta, GA. I was dismayed at the condition of the facility. The wallpaper was peeling from the walls; there were stains in the carpet in the hallways, and the hotel was understaffed, with only one person manning the front desk, leading to delays in check-in. The hotel needs a complete overhaul, as everything is very dated. The only advantage of this hotel is that it is located directly across from the Rainwater Convention Center. With the volume of traffic the hotel should receive due to its proximity to I-75 and the convention center, I hope that the Hilton Corporation will remodel and update this facility as soon as possible.

I’m sorry for such a terrible title, but nothing else seems to be getting Hilton’s attention. Filthy. Wallpaper randomly falling off the walls, black mold in the bathroom, stained carpet, wood flooring cracked and lifting, water stains on ceiling. So awfully terrible and run down. The people who worked there were fine and I blame them in no way for our experience. Our room and bedding were clean, as far as could be achieved amongst such neglect. We are giving up on Hampton Inn- our first choice for many years. We will see what Mariott has to offer. It’s time for the Hilton head office to swoop in and either clean up this stain on their name or take the Hilton name off of it.

The room was dusty and I woke up this morning with a swollen and itchy arm. Something bite me while sleeping. I notified the lady upon checkout she didn't appear to be concerned. If my arm is still swollen when I get home I'll see my doctor.
