Nice place, big apartment, clean pool, silent area, a bit outside city

Second time here. Always a pleasant experience l. Friendly staff, clean environment, quiet too. Highly recommended for stays in Valencia or nearby Dumaguete

The Travelocity property description is misleading. The description says unit has AC. It only has AC (barely works) in the one bedroom with instructions not to open the bedroom doors to cool the entire unit to “avoid malfunction and accident due to wire shortage”. The rest of the apartment was like a hot sauna. There were ants crawling all over the kitchen counter. I will say the ants were more welcoming than the apartment host. Upon noticing all the above, my wife and I immediately checked out and retuned the key. My family was traveling with us and had reserved a different property through AirB&B. My wife and I had to find a more suitable and trustworthy accommodation. I requested a full refund but was denied by the Marpas host. Shame on Marpas for not being forthcoming regarding their property.

From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The place was clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was lovely—peaceful and green, perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee and yoga. The clean and well-kept pool made it a great spot to cool off and unwind. It truly felt like a little oasis. The apartment was cozy yet spacious, with thoughtful details that made it feel welcoming. The host and staff were also fantastic—responsive and friendly. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home but with the perks of a vacation, this is it!
