Great service! Cute family run hotel in the heart of Valkenburg! Close to everything. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! Great breakfast and lobby bar.

We had a triple room on the ground floor, it was really spacious, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds.
Location is perfect, a short walk from the Christmas markets, restaurants and the Christmas caves.

Prachtig hotel, met mooie kamers en alle faciliteiten. Het ontbijt is fantastisch; heel veel keuze! Er is een prachtige bar aanwezig met speciaalbieren (zelfs aan de tap). Eigen parking. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Dicht bij het centrum van Valkenburg.

Laten we starten met het goede nieuws: de ligging is fantastisch. Lekker centraal, goed uitgangspunt voor een bezoek aan Valkenburg en om wandelingen in de omgeving te maken. Maar lieve mensen, als je 450 (!!) euro voor 2 nachten (inclusief hond en parking) betaalt voor 2 nachten, dan mag je ook wel iets verwachten. De kamer was echt heel klein, je kon net om het bed heen lopen. Dus waar laat je je koffer, en een hond bijvoorbeeld (waar je goed voor betaalt!)? Een klein kastje, zonder leggedeelte. Je bezoekt deze regio ook voor wandelingen of fietstochten, maar waar je je zanderige schoenen en kleding laat? Geen idee. Geen stopcontact bij een slaapplek, heel onhandig. Het gordijn niet volledig in de rails, verf van de verwarming bladderde af, douchecabine sloot niet goed, smoezelige vloerbedekking (ook geen pantoffeltje om de badkamer te bereiken) en als klap op de vuurpijl uitzicht op de parking. Kortom: vergane glorie, en veel te veel geld voor deze kamer. Vooraf een vraag gesteld via e-mail: geen antwoord. Dan maar bellen: een chagrijnige dame die geen antwoord gaf ("dat moet u zelf uitzoeken"). Met hond niet in de ontbijtzaal, ok. Dan maar eten in de bar, waarvan het tafeltje nog niet schoon was van de avond ervoor (en de bar muf ruikt). Op Nieuwjaarsdag geen attentie (geloof me, ik heb in NL en in de wereld heel wat steden bezocht op Oud & Nieuw - altijd een leuke attentie op de kamer met wens). Zelfs de beloofde bubbel bij het ontbijt (zie hun website) stond er geen enkele dag. De foto's op de website zijn prachtig, maar misleidend. Prijs/kwaliteit is hier ver over de top. Voor zoveel geld hadden we echt iets beters verwacht. Om af te sluiten met nog wat positiefs: de ontbijtdames zijn superlief en servicegericht.

We staid in this hotel two weeks ago. The owner (a lady) was not friendly at all when we checked in. Rather cold and if she was not caring about anything. My husband fell during the first day and he was bleeding on the knee, the son of the owners was sitting at the reception desk. He did not even know if there was a first aid box in the hotel, which is mandatory by law. He had to call his father to ask but they did not have any. I had to go around the whole city to find the necessary things for medication as the only pharmacy in town was closed on a Sunday. Breakfast buffet very poor, pastries were missing all the time, they did not refill the empty recipients with eggs and so on. The pictures of the hotel on their website do not reflect reality at all. We had booked a superior room which was not clean at all, very old fashioned furniture. We were very disappointed and we will for sure not be staying in this hotel anymore.
