OMG! That's what I said when I arrived and walked into this amazing boutique hotel. From the moment we arrive the staff was very friendly. They allowed us to review the room before we made a final decision to stay here. The reason being this was not our original choice. Our original hotel had caught on fire and was no longer available for our dates. We made our way to our room which was sealed to show that they were adhering to the COVID-19 requirements. Even the room key was in sealed plastic packaging. The rooms we quaint and nice in size. 10 rooms make this a great option for SOCIAL DISTANCING. Considering we had just left a luxury hotel in Tulum this did not disappoint. The location we found was PERFECT! We could walk to everything. We had a driver and because it was raining we did use the car. BREAKFAST was sooooo good and fresh fruit was beyond! Will use this location for my clients in the future who want to visit Valladolid. We were so happy to find such a lovely hotel in Valladolid, that was super nice and modern, but was also beautifully combining the Yucatan traditions and symbols. First of all, the name of the hotel was also special and Waye means hotel de aqui. We have stayed in a lovely room at the first floor decorated in a boho Mayan vibe, that was really close to their rooftop pool. I loved spending time there and also in their front garden, surrounded by their gorgeous exotic plants and also by the super tropical bar. The hotel is located super close to the city center of Valladolid and you have by a walking distance el Parque Central and the Monastery of San Bernardino de Siena. There is a lovely pedestrian street, filled with colourful buildings, flowers and shops really close by, that is called Calzada de los Frailes. If you happen to be in the area and want to visit Merida, Chichen Itza and Tulum, this hotel is in the center of all these locations and you can have nice road trips planned in different locations and tourist attractions everyday. They also have a lovely restaurant called Mundo Maya where they serve breakfast in the morning, but you can also have lunch or dinner there. We’ve had some delicious typical Mexican eggs in the morning and decided to stay also for dinner that was also very good. I loved their guacamole and tacos. Save this destination on your wish list because it is so gorgeous and so worth it.

This hotel is obviously on the less expensive side, and, in terms of hard product, you get what you pay for. That being said, the service is great and they do your best to make you feel comfortable despite the lack of amenities. We booked the larger room, but somehow ********** and the hotel itself were not communicating properly and our room had already been booked. Instead, they put us in a standard room and charged us appropriately. Regarding the room itself, the AC is pointed right at the bed, so it can get a bit cold if left on throughout the night. The sink is not in the bathroom, so that can be slightly inconvenient. However, they did have a hairdryer, fridge, and provided plates/utensils when asked for, so we appreciated the effort there. Location is walking distance from the city center and bus station, as well as a supermarket. Parking is inside a gate with limited spots, but seemed safe enough.

We spent three days here and were impressed by the size of the room that we had. Good on-site parking (which we needed and one of the reasons we picked this accommodation). The rooms are kept very clean by the maids who do a great job. We found the accommodation to be quite noisy. The building balconies are made of timber and make a lot of noise when being used. Light doors meant that people were slamming the doors constantly. The restaurant on site is handy but it also means that the car park outside the rooms is full of diners cars and noisy till late. Breakfast was Mexican style which was ok. We were disappointed that they didn’t serve tea. We found the location to be quite far from the main town centre and in a not so great neighbourhood. We thought the price was on the high side compared to our other experiences in Mexico.

Our stay in Hotel Los Frailas was perfect. We travel as familly with small childe 4 year old, and the place was perfect for us as adults and for our doughtier too. She enjoyed the pool, and as we stayed on basement infront of garden and pool it was easy for us to handled her running around. Breakfast was nice, service and people perfect (they speak english and they want to help what ever you need). Hotel is new, big rooms, great beds, nice garden and pool, and silence in the garden. It is not in the Valladolid center, few minutes ride, but we had car and for us it was perfect, much more peace than in the city. Good ratio between price and service. If we come to Valladolid, we definitely will come back!

Temporary hotel, free parking. The place is quite big. The room is big but after all, the small place did not report great expectations! Hotel without hair dryer... embarrassing

A magical place in the middle of the jungle, it has 2 very beautiful cenotes, it is super nice, clean, Luis was very attentive as he guided us to 2 places inside the hotel, the pool has lounge chairs, towels, dressing rooms, the rooms are very good equipped, clean, with TV and a small bar fridge and in general the architecture in harmony with the place, the cost includes continental breakfast, the only thing is that on the road you need identification and the restaurant is not yet in operation, so you can buy food to take it with you and dedicate yourself to enjoying the beauty of the place, there is a nearby town but there are not many food options, in conclusion highly recommended, without a doubt I would return without thinking about it.
