A fantastic meal , great service and a warm welcome the minute we walked through the door. We were very looked after by Adam, a super friendly & polite chap that clearly loves his job. He's a great ambassador for the Victoria hotel. I enjoyed a deliscous steak cooked to perfection and from our seat by the window were able to watch the sailing ships on the Menai strait.

We really enjoyed the beautiful location and view from the rear of the hotel, which has had an amazing refurbishment since our last visit many years ago. Everyone was really helpful and Nathan in particular was very attentive and professional thank you… The breakfast was lovely, but the food in the evening was not quite of the same standard which is our only criticism, will return again hopefully…

We were fortunate to get a last minute booking for one night in a superior room, overlooking the Menai Straits. The room was magnificent and attention to detail was superb. A spacious balcony was an unexpected bonus. A fantastic breakfast was included, but we also ate in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival. Service was excellent on both occasions as was the quality of the food. I can thoroughly recommend this exceptional small hotel and restaurant.

Fabulous views of the Menai Strait looking towards Llandudno. The staff were very attentive and all were exceptionally friendly. The food was absolutely gorgeous from the wild mushrooms starter, the glazed pork belly main meal and the eton mess was to die for. Really can't recommend highly enough.

Lovely environment and friendly staff. Warning - the pies are enormous but delicious. I think most of the portions are large. The gardens at the back have a splendid view across the Menai straits. We had lunch so I don’t know what it is like in the evenings.

We are regulars here and the food and service are pretty good however my bugbear is the clearing of tables which I have reported twice. The staff take the cutlery they presume hasn't been used to the stations but then re set the tables using the cutlery. Twice I have told management that I have seen cutlery that has been touched and often used but putdown on the table as if it hadn't been used...used again for the next diners to use. This lack of basic hygiene is unacceptable. I will visit again and if I observe it again I will go to environmental health.

We had an absolutely fantastic break here only stayed for one night but will definitely go back. It’s right in the middle of everything and you can visit loads of areas from your starting place. The staff at the hotel were terrific and couldn’t do enough for you, the room was large, clean and comfortable.
