Van Thanh Hotels with Breakfast

Sadly our planned trip was quite disappointing to Whale Island. The staff are friendly and helpful but the water is murky with a diesel film in the mornings and snorkeling off the beach as suggested is not option. The fishing boats start at 3am about 100mts out front - totally appreciate they need to make a living but if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing holiday this will spoil it. The staff provide earplugs as an acknowledgment but it is constant. The food was average - Vietnamese dishes were good but any westernised versions lacked spark. If you are looking for a snorkelling relaxing holiday like we were, I’d suggest you look elsewhere.
