We love staying at Holiday Inn in Vandalia when we go visit family. It's always clean and quiet. My kids love the pool. The breakfast was awesome with lots to choose from and very delicious. The only thing that was disappointing was that the hot tub still was not working. We visited back in May and it wasn't working then either.

Very nice hotel off I 70. 24 hour beverages, breakfast 6 am to 9. Huge room 2 queen beds, sofa bed, desk and chair Quiet except at 3 am heard term construction. Soft pillows, firm bed, attentive breakfast attentive...will return when in area. Havent stayed at Holiday inn in years as i had a streak of bad franchisee experience this stay gave me hope.

This is a good hotel. It is comfortable with a good breakfast. I had a few issues with my keys not working. The elevator is broken so check and make sure that it is repaired if stairs are difficult. Tina, the manager, was helpful and professional. I recommend and would stay again.

Clean property & comfortable bed. Good selection of breakfast items as well.
The bathroom could use a deeper cleaning & the front desk clerk could have been more accommodating for price matching the online offer.

Room wasn't as clean as it should have been, but staff was very friendly and apologized for the mistakes, I was disappointed the hot tub was broken but the kids loved the pool, we will be staying with them again!

The beds were very comfortable. It was a convenient location, easy to get to off the highway. Also has shopping and food very close by.
The indoor pool was not heated. It was cold. The hot tub was not in operation. I was really looking forward to a nice relaxing soak after a long day of driving. The elevator was scary! We could not control the temp in the room.

I had an issue with my tax exempt status for work. Its always such a headache traveling and figuring that out. The front desk staff helped me out and gave awesome service. Very comfortable during my stay.
