The sea water is a very beautiful Hetian jade color, but because it is gray sand, the sea water near the beach will be stirred up by the sand, making it slightly turbid. So snorkeling is not allowed on the hotel beach. It is not recommended to choose this place if you want to enjoy close-to-sea activities. The view of the sea from the second floor of the thatched hut on the beach is unparalleled. Even in stormy weather, the sea water is still bright and moving. In the afternoon, you may see pelicans coming in groups for a walk. If you like to see pelicans, it is worth coming here because they are fed. The catering is not as bad as expected, the food is still very rich, especially the buffet restaurant. Although the buffet restaurant does not look as elegant as other restaurants, after eating all the restaurants, we came to the conclusion that the buffet restaurant is the best! The service is nothing special. I greet everyone when I meet them, and they are very cordial. There are lively singing and dancing, model performances, etc. every night. It is more suitable for those who like a lively vacation style. Anyway, this is Cuba and the resort has its own character, but you can't expect refinement and detail. If it is used as an investigation into the local economy, it is worth it, because as far as we know, Cuba's current pillar industry is tourism, and Varadero is one of the representative destinations. If you hope to have a perfect beach holiday, then Southeast Asia may have better value for money and better software and hardware.

Since it’s two orders, there won’t be too much duplication. All staff speak English, including the cleaning staff, which is undoubtedly a boon for tourists who don't speak Spanish. There is WIFI in each building (which is rare in Cuba), and the WIFI signal strength in open areas depends on the distance from the building. The WIFI will be disconnected every time you leave the building, and you need to log in again next time. So we log in N times a day I was quite satisfied with the meal. I was very satisfied to be able to eat such a buffet despite the lack of food in Cuba. The lobster pasta in the Italian restaurant tastes good and the lobster is quite filling. The hotel is quite large, with 400 rooms, and they were all full on the day we checked in. Many people who come here come from Canada and get a flight + wine package. So much so that when they learned that we were Chinese, they asked us whether we lived in China or Canada? Except for the store that sells refrigerator magnets, all shops in the hotel only accept U.S. dollars and not Cuban pesos. Finally, I communicated with the hotel customer service and used the remaining 12,000 PESO when paying the taxi fare to Havana Airport.

The hotel is good, but some rooms are far apart. The stairs to the restaurants are high and the elevator doesn't work, so for older people it is tiring and you need to be careful. The service in the restaurant is regular by some staff, but in general it is good.

The check out experience was very bad when two maleros forced me to pay a tip, claiming that they worked too much and earned little and that's why I was forced to pay the tip.

There were many, many, many mosquitoes in the room we stayed in, at least hundreds! The front desk sent a waiter to deal with it, but it couldn't be solved, and the waiter's attitude was very bad! After many communication requests, the front desk reluctantly changed the room for one night! The new room has no mosquitoes! The whole process is quite complicated, and I have never had such a bad experience!

Excellent hotel with impeccable service. Food is an important point. Sometimes there may be restrictions on some items, but these can be found in other restaurants in the Hotel or Bar. The beach looks like a swimming pool, it is so calm during the stay. All employees and collaborators were extremely friendly during the period. The hotel provided a WI-FI ticket for the entire stay, which was slightly unavailable for a few moments.

We went out for dinner at 6 PM and there was never any space in the restaurants, they told us to come back at 8:15 PM and when we arrived it was still full, meaning we didn't have dinner in any special restaurants, just at the buffet. The food is unseasoned.
