AWFUL! THE RECEPTIONIST WAS SUPER RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. THE FOOD WAS IN A VERY BAD CONDITION, FLIES EVERYWHERE AND TASTELESS. THE DRINKS WERE JUST WATER. THE ROOMS WERE DIRTY AND QUITE OLD AND THE DON’T CLEAN THE ROOM JUST MAKE THE BED. MAKE A FAVOUR TO YOURSELF AND DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE

Service only for dollars. Rooms dirty, carkala roaches, no hot water. Were assigned to Las Palmas when booking, even though Quatro Palmas was booked for double. Very loud. Canteen is narrow and part of a construction site. For every favor you have to give dollars. Cocktails at the bar are terrible. Food mediocre. Beach very good.

The hotel is wonderful, the food is fantastic, the snack bar is really fun and the staff is super attentive. I don't recommend it for women traveling alone, there is a lot of harassment from foreigners and some suspicious movements. If you are alone, be very careful.

My experience with the reservation of this hotel has been horrible, since I reserved a type of standard room and when I arrived at the hotel reception, they assigned me the room in the economic section that is located two blocks from the facilities of the Starfish Cuatro Palmas hotel. They are like accommodations apart from the main hotel, disappointing, at the hotel in Cuba they tell me that on trip.com where I made the reservation, they are not very explicit when making the reservation, they do not give you all the details, the The door of the room that leads to the balcony, had problems closing, we had to move almost two streets to go to the hotel, where the restaurant, pool and other services were, the experience was horrible

I really liked the location of the Hotel. The workers are very friendly. For its category, the food is fine. The beach is a few meters away. For my next trips I plan to repeat my visit to this hotel.

Hotel with excellent location. Very friendly staff. wonderful food. The bar works perfect. All very well. 1000% recommended for anyone who wants to live the experience of the best resort hotel in Varadero. Go with closed eyes.

The staff is amazing, Rosie from administration Hanny front desk, all the staff from the restaurant including The Aroma and the International restaurant.The aninimation with Adiel and Ingri super helpful and joyful.They really make us feel at home.I feel like Familia when I come here.Amazing

Great location on the *****, which makes the hotel perfect for off resort exploring. The food was decent and better variety than expected with some days having less choices than others. The alcohol selection was ok. The beach was beautiful (the reason to go) and the pool was nice. Main compliant is definitely the room, located in the colonial section. I paid for a Superior Room. There was no second deadbolt (as a woman staying alone that was an issue), my shower leaked a ton, my balcony doors wouldn’t close shut, there were ants in my sink and the view from my window was a planter full of old cigarette buts. Not nice. There wasn’t even a “do not disturb sign” to put on the door. AC worked perfectly though and bed was comfy. Sheets and towels were stained. Again, it’s Cuba. I knew what I was going in for, knew the standards aren’t like other islands. So it is what it is. The ocean was perfection and that’s all that mattered to me. If you can deal with less than perfect rooms, ok food and lots of people from Quebec and Russia, this resort is fine. **if you want good food, go off the resort

Was my first time at this hotel and i loved . Staff are wonderful , helpful , kind and very professional. Room were great . There was lots of hot water for a great shower , soft pillows , great bed , clean room all the time . Wonderful location and most importante food was delicious ! It was 10 out of 10 for me and I super recommended to everyone !! See you again on next year Starfish .......

We ended up picking this hotel because of its location. The location and friendly staff are the highlights of this hotel for sure! It is across three street from restaurants, shopping and bars. The bar staff in the back bar were fantastic! I really appreciated their efforts and the fact that they would go out and find different mixes etc and buy them with their own money just to please their customers. The food is typically bad. But that is to be expected. It seems to be more catered to an older crowd. Things die down early, I believe the good bar closes at midnight and the best thing to drink at the main bar is by far simply water!

This is my fifth time at Cuatro Palmas. I have a room with a great viee on the ocean. People are friendly, I like the fact that it is a 160 room resort. You can make friends easily. I also enjoyed my diner at resto a la carte. The place is clean as always and the employes very friendly

August 28th - September 11th / Hola Sun Holidays Pros: - The hotel is closer to the airport than the other hotels. - The location is pretty much what this hotel is about. It is directly across from Calle 62 and walking distance to all restaurants, stores, and candy shops. - The hotel itself is a smaller hotel compared to the others down the *****. Everything is within walking distance throughout the hotel. - The food was actually pretty good. Beef, chicken, pork, rice, beans, and vegetables. Breakfast had everything: scrambled eggs, milk, pancakes, sausages, omelets, cereal, ice cream, dessert cakes, salads, sauces... - Cuban coffee with milk is the best around. Sugar was available but I personally didn't use any. - Las Palmas rooms are basic but the location was still pretty good. The A/C, hot water, and toilet were functioning. Iron board wasn't broken and iron was provided. The sliding balcony door was smooth and wasn't broken. - The beach and water was the best and can never go wrong. The setup was pretty good. The outdoor showers and bars were located well. Glass pitchers with ice water at the pool bar and snack bar was great. - 24/7 snack bar featured hamburgers, chicken/mayo, ham/cheese, and pork sandwiches. - Entertainment with nightly shows. - Service and staff where very helpful and friendly - Wi-Fi Internet was available throughout the resort including Las Palmas. It was fast in the lobby and pool area. - The cats and kittens were cute and awesome. Cons: - The hotel isn't as fun as others. It relies on location. You might get harassed for taking drinks outside the resort. Ask the security guards first to make sure how they feel about it. Security at Calle 62 might bother you though. - The age group for this hotel seems to be at the senior level. I do not recommend this hotel to 40 and under. - Wi-Fi at the Las Palmas was not as strong. I had to use my smartphone as a hotspot for my laptop to connect to the internet. Please install more routers. - There were no mangos available at this resort. I personally go to Cuba to pig out on Mangos and it was very disappointing that they didn't have any. - No separate coffee bar. - Hamburgers are usually sold out at night at the snack bar. - Mosquito bites are always part of the trip. - The beach chairs are getting pretty visibly dirty. Please scrub with cleanser staff members! - Cubans will likely cut in front of you at the bar or front desk. Try to build a rapport with the service people first so that they will help you before others. - Watch out for thieves, pickpockets, and scammers. It's probably best not to carry too much around. Locals will try to befriend you for money and charity purposes. They will likely ask for you to buy them food. I personally did not let the cleaning lady in my room at all throughout the two weeks. I did my best keep my room clean and brought lysol wipes for that purpose. Nothing but towel exchanges was all I needed. - First floor tourists: DO NOT forget to
