Despite arriving early in the morning, we were warmly welcomed. It's a very quiet place, even for a Varanasi location. The availability of juices and ice cream at the front desk is a definite plus, especially when visiting during the hot season!

I used it only for a shower and a nap and headed to Delhi on a night flight, but Varanasi is dirty and stinky with the Gandhi River, so it is recommended to use a cheap dormitory for shower use. If you enter the Gandhi River without planning a shower, you should definitely consider it an inpatient course.

I’m a solo traveler who has been to many different places in India, and I can highly recommend this hostel for your next stay. The staff here is very helpful with everything you need. The rooms are very nice, and the air conditioning works properly. The bathroom in our room was cleaned by the staff every day. I enjoyed the food here so much that I ate here every day. The hostel also has an app through which you can order food and beverages and open the door to your room. I liked it so much that I’ve also booked stays in Rishikesh and Jaipur with the same brand, as I hope they are just as good as this one in Varanasi.

The food was not good; the paneer tasted strange and was quite expensive. The bathroom has a geyser, but there is no tub or mug—how is one supposed to bathe? There was no soap, only liquid soap was provided, which I didn’t like. The place is designed like a hostel cabin, making it overpriced for what it offers.

Loved the stay at go-stop varanasi. All amenities mentioned are available. Although delivery was a little slow but that was considerable given they had multiple floors to serve. They also provided us the contact for a boat person who took us to all the ghats and picked us up from the stay and dropped off to the corresponding autorikshaw location mentioned during chat. Overall loved the stay during tough maha kumbh times. Also the plus point is that, it is literally at walking distance from the major ghat, temple and the high crowd places
