De oprit via de gietijzeren poort naar het hotel is sfeervol en ook de tuin rondom het hotel is prachtig. Het inchecken is bij de receptie in het hoofdgebouw in de indrukwekkende entree. Eigenlijk kregen we toen al het vermoeden dat het beter zou zijn om onze geboekte kamer in het bijgebouw om te boeken naar een kamer in het hoofdgebouw om zodoende het hele verblijf in sfeer door te brengen - niet gedaan. Tja, en dan slaap je dus in een laboratorium-achtige, heel neutrale wit/grijzige ruimte. Bed en badkamer zijn prima. Ook het ontbijt is in het bijgebouw - die ruimte heeft wel iets van aandacht gekregen maar is vele malen minder spectaculair dan die in het hoofdgebouw - ontbijt zelf is redelijk. Conclusie is denk ik nadat ik andere reviews over het hoofdgebouw heb gelezen: voor het dubbele bedrag boek je een kamer in het hoofdgebouw en die zorgt voor een positievere herinnering aan het totale verblijf. Het bijgebouw is voor het grootste deel bedoeld voor de conferentiegangers. Naar het dorp wandelen langs het meer is wel aardig - wij waren er op een dinsdag en dan zijn alle restaurants dicht behalve de pizzeria die in handen is van een chinees. Voedsel dus Italiaans of Chinees.

quand vous arrivez un café ou autre boisson serait agréable dans la chambre rien de cela frigo vide normal il ne fonctionne pas il y avait une bouteille d eau tiéde .aucun renseignement en français buffet d un 2 étoiles ,aucune brochure sur les environs !!!! les photos sont du siècle passé !

Bellissimo week-end di coppia a Gennaio 2024, abbiamo prenotato una junior suite che era enorme proprio bella e tenuta molto bene, tutto in ordine. Abbiamo utilizzato la SPA ed è carina, non troppo affollata e ben organizzata. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante La Scuderia e hanno un bel menù, pizza buona e dei bei gusti. È stato un bel week-end!

Hotel Villa Borghi is a 4*hotel with little or none 4* commodities. In my opinion the quality standard doesn't even meet the 3* standard... I would put between 2* and 3*... so: 2.5* considering the look of the historical building. And that's it. Too expensive for the quality and commodities they offer. They advertise and sell the hotel using pictures of top standard and quality rooms and then you arrive at the hotel and you get something different, not according to a 4* standard and not even similar to what you booked taking into consideration the pictures and description of the hotel. It's a big disappointment. I don't recommend Hotel Villa Borghi to anyone. Just take a look at the pictures I post here of the deluxe double room 🤔: minibar empty, broken furniture, small and old closet, lamps full of dust and not clean, shower not properly cleaned and maintained, bed with only two pillows and of very basic quality, cheap plastic cups and paper cups. So, basically: a fraud.

Villa Borghi mi ha lasciato un bellissimo ricordo di serenità e tranquillità. Location molto bella ed elegante con vista panoramica sul lago. Camere comode , grandi e molto pulite con biancheria da letto di qualità. Organizzazione e accoglienza di rilievo. Il ristorante/pizzeria "La Scuderia " rispecchia fedelmente le vecchie stalle della villa proponendo piatti e pizze squisite.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Amazing views! Room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the wireless internet connection waa terrible, which meant the TV would not load channels and I was unable to work remotely. I told thw front desk but nothing was done. Also, their restaurants require reservations and by the time we checked in there were no reservatioms left at the main restaurant. Also note that no food from outside the hotel is allowed.

C'était très triste de terminer nos vacances dans un hôtel aussi horrible. Nous avons été hébergés dans un bâtiment supplémentaire qui n'avait rien de commun avec le château, le SPA avait l'air de n'avoir pas été nettoyé depuis de nombreuses années, tout était sale et sentait étrange. Nous avions un restaurant avec nourriture incluse, mais c’est une tout autre histoire, une pizzeria avec un service épouvantable et du vin bon marché. Les serveurs, qui ne connaissaient rien au vin, disaient des n’importe quoi pour vendre. Le dessert était confus et nous avons été servis très longtemps entre les plats, les serveurs restaient au comptoir sans rien faire et en regardant le téléphone. Je n'ai jamais vu un tel désastre. Le petit déjeuner est le pire de ma vie, toutes les tranches de fromage et de viande, on ne comprend pas de quelle couleur, en parcourant les rangées j'ai décidé de manger au moins quelque chose pour ne pas avoir faim, j'ai choisi des œufs durs qui n'étaient pas frais et vert à l'intérieur. Il était tout simplement impossible de boire du café dans un thermos. Nous avons payé 235 francs pour la nuit passée, pour un moment épouvantable. Réfléchissez bien à ce que vous devez arrêter. La belle photo du château contient un tas de défauts cachés.
