Keys need to be collected at Hestasport Reception (navigation). It is a drive away from the cottages!
We arrived late night (after first making our way to the cottages and realising that reception was at another location) however was cheerfully met by reception and a very friendly dog! 😊
Pleasantly surprised to find unit aesthetics exceeding our expectations irl. It was comfortable and cosy.
We managed to soak in the hot tub after an early breakfast as we were too tired and too cold when we checked in. It was amazing, though slightly windy it wasnt as cold as we had expected. We also managed to catch a beautiful sunrise. Definitely recommend early morning soak as it is calm, quiet and most probably less popular time.
Hope that you will have an awesome time at Hestasport as we did!

Our stay here was amazing! It was SO clean, quiet, and private. The communication with the host was fantastic and the cabin exceeded our already high expectations. The hot tub was perfect despite -8 degree C weather, and the northern lights made a spectacular unforgettable experience.

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft mit allem, was man braucht. Die Cottages sind traumhaft und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Hot Pot ist super zum Entspannen und ist ein tolles Extra. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Hestasport cottages was our favorite stay in Iceland! The cottages are adorable, clean, well-stocked, and the beds are comfy. The hot tub is incredibly lovely - they keep it quite hot and clean. I cannot more highly recommend this place - we actually changed our trip around to be able to spend another night here. We found it to be so beautiful and quiet, while still very easy to get to.

Heerlijk rustig, ruim huis van alle keukengemakken voorzien, geweldige hotpool in het midden van het terrein, in het huisje vind je badjassen en crocs. Het was jammer dat we maar één nacht verbleven op weg naar het noorden. Volgende keer blijven we langer!

Reception person is very delightful! Cottage was very clean, well stocked and spacious. Beds excellent, local thermal bath (right outside the cottage) is wonderful!

Cottage was large and comfortable. We really enjoyed the windows on all sides, so we had a view of everything. The hot tub in the center was great. Rob’s and clogs are provided. This was our favorite property of our 7 day trip.

Hotel hot spring made my day. After a tiring journey sitting in the hot spring was the best part. Very cute cottages. A must visit.
