Chalet L'Establou

Hello, we have rented apartment n°6 of chalet ESTABLOU for the period from August 1 to August 11, 2021. This 93 m2 apartment is described as "Grand Confort" on the establou.com site and many other sites. . To begin with, we are not welcomed by anyone. We have to retrieve the key from a mailbox. It wasn't agreed like that. First surprise and this is only the beginning… In front of the apartment, we meet the former tenants and we realize on arrival in this one that no one has checked the state of cleanliness of the apartment: - The sticky floor, - The oven door still containing Emmental au gratin, disgusting dishes and graters, - The barbecue in a deplorable state, - The presence of cobwebs all over the place and "momouts" of dust , - Stained sheets, - Unwashed sheets between each tenant (long live COVID), - Multiple molds at the joints of sanitary facilities and inside showers (hygiene level horror). Then, by the smell, we realize that there is a problem and that the apartment has moldy stains on the ceilings: the smell is disgusting and we had to leave the doors open. And then as we move in, on top of all that, we discover that many things are broken or defective: - the wheels of the dishwasher basket are broken (we break our backs), - the fridge no longer lights up, - the dining table is from another era and no longer holds up at all (broken bar below), - the bathroom closet door is broken, - the patio umbrella completely broken (we missed him - traveling with children / lunches and snacks impossible), - the broken trash can, - The bathroom sink is leaking. Also many things are low-end and/or badly thought out, in total contradiction with the notion of "Great comfort": - The bedding dates from another era (to be changed urgently), - The barbecue positioned on the terrace just in front of the main bay of the apartment (not ideal when you like to be at home / vis-à-vis / noise pollution), - You can hear footsteps above and next to it, - There is no shutters – only curtains (be careful for those who are light sleepers) - There are only 3 parking spaces for 10 apartments and it is very difficult to park around / presence of a hostel: a headache head to park. - Dark housing. We contacted the owners the same evening: Mrs. Corinne did not like me sending her a series of photographs representing the problems in her apartment and asked me if my place was impeccable. Mr. Thierry resumed the conversation and specified that his niece was coming to see us to solve the problem. The appointment is made and we are still waiting for it!
